All the colors look awesome... This will be hard to choose.

When will this (and the extras of TX-87) be available? Again, no rush, I'm just hyped.  :thumb:

If I will show 14 colors of tx87. All would confuse to decide the color.

[Basic option]
Black. Silver. Titan grey. Red. Blue. Champagne gold. Light purple. Pink. Cyan

[87+pad set option]
Green. Green-grey. Yellow-gold. Orange-gold. Purple.

Waaait a minute... Green? I love you.
But if I understand correctly green is only available in bundle of TX87 and TX Pad, and not for a TX87 by itself, correct?
If that is the case I need to get money quick (or not get a TX75), I can't let an opportunity to get a Green board pass. Green is my favorite color, but very rarely made.

all the anodize is super high quality..

To tell the true...
This time anodizing... (Tx.cp and Tx.75)
is the worst in tx-series.
Tx.87, Tx.pad and Tx.1800 were better in anodizing.

Hmm. Sorry, but what does this actually mean? Is the layer much thinner or are there scratches? I assume all cases are examined before shipped out so no defected cases are sent out.

Yes.. After checking I send.
In tx-series..
Tx.cp and tx.75 anodizing are not as good as tx87 and txpad.

Although I am not satisfied with txcp and tx75 anodizing.
They are also good quality.

I tried uploading last time.
But it looked too many..
So I just uploaded a few pics.

But.. I realize many persons want more pics.. :)

More pics are always good.  :thumb:

I have to expain tx-series.

LZ and I started project of tx87 3 years ago.
I wanted to make boards for custom keyboard beginners.
low price, simple design, good feeling of typing.
I contacted many factories and made many proto boards.
because I planed to make 300pc to decrease the price.
I had to test for a long time.

I thought...making small quantity of tx1800 was better before tx87.
so.. tx1800 was the first keyboard of tx-series.

tx1800 had some problems.
some scratches, anodizing.

I don't like rough sanding.
because of soft sanding... scratches are easilly shown, anodizing error, too.
but I didn't want to change sanding.

I made more tx1800 and fixed some holes.
it took a lot of time.

two years ago.. tx87 and txpad were made..
they were made well in good quality. (20% not good)
I sold them in Korea and China.

I have sent many tx87 and txpad to chinese provider in china.
Most of extra are in my warehouse now
some extra boards are in his warehouse.

Leeku suggested to make txcp and tx75.
so.. I made txcp and tx75.

I ran txcp GB in Korea and China.
Yuktsi helped GB in GH.

There was no tx75 GB in Korea.
All tx75 and txcp are in my warehouse.

I have times to pack and communicate for next 4 months,
in March I will be busy again.

Wow! Thanks for listening and posting all those photos of the different colours! That blue is super bright, is it the same colour as the Hydro blue from Jchans 65 https://i.imgur.com/ejwog8O.jpg? Super tempted for either a blue one or black!

As someone new to the TX series i really appreciate the brief history behind the TX projects. Getting to know the good guys behind the making of these awesome boards makes them that much more interesting! :thumb: :)

Hello peeps, sorry for the delay in sale of TX75. Was away helping with the renovation of my grandparent's house. Since this is not a GB, I won't be starting a GB thread. Kin will have boards shipped within a week after payment is made to me (he promised 24 hours, but let's not be too harsh to him), I will have the invoice sent within a 24 hours.

Hello peeps, please understand that this is not a group buy, but a sale of whatever stock Kin-25 have in hand. There were limited brass plate made (15pcs), but Kin-25 is giving the prorioty to the peeps on Geekhack. As for the brass plate, there were only 2-3 left. So I didn't put it into the form.

I've made a mistake for not giving option for SS or aluminium plate. Sorry. Again, there were limited ss/alu plates being made. If you want a SS one, please send me a PM or put a note at the end of the form (I will see the note after you paid). Priority of color and plate selection will given to those who paid first.

Thank you.

I am wondering the same thing about the weight. Is it brass or stainless steel?

Also, the order form has an option for an extra brass plate, but what about extra PCBs?

It is hard to express the difference of plates.

For example..
When you are running..
On stone floor = ss
On soft track = brass
On wood floor = alu

Any info on difference between brass/ss/alum btw?

It is hard to express the difference of plates.

For example..
When you are running..
On stone floor = ss
On soft track = brass
On wood floor = alu
It's winter i prefer carpet

Which is best for tactile/linear switches?

I don't know about other people but I prefer steel for linear and alum for tactile (haven't tried brass).

I am a  linear user. so I like brass plate.

Generally

Alu plate : clear
non plate : click

you are right.
If you feel fingertip pain in SS plate, brass plate would make the pain reduce.
