For example, pressure sensors can be divided into diffused silicon and metal capacitors, ceramic capacitors. What are the classifications besides stress?

You will find those basic mechanisms also in switches for other types of applications.
Some gamepads for popular games consoles have each trigger engineered as a crank rod connected to a potentiometer.
