McDonald's bottom row :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Excellent work!  What switch type / spring type?

Also, I think this is probably the best layout decision for compatibility with more PBT keysets that are for sale (or in GBs).  :thumb:

Dirty caps from a beam spring keyboard:

And a picture of the keyboard itself - i have to re-shoot it sometimes, because there's some white missing in the left and on the right side, and for my taste too much distortion. It just looks too wide, and it isn't that wide in reality. Maybe i'll make a new picture when everything is cleaned  :)

Even though I'll never want one enough to get one, Realforces always seem incredibly sexy to me.
I think it's because everyone who has one takes such nice pictures of them.

Even with their old fashioned design or because of that they are really nice in reality! When i saw them first i thought i will never buy such a keyboard for that price - long time before i recognized keyboards as a hobby or something special, when reading reviews from pc/hardware magazines praising them.

Topre + Wooden Desk + G500 = Insta-win.

Keeping it simple on my desk right now. In that keep-as-little-in-front-of-me mood. I wish I had my Kensington Slimblade with me right now... I should also hook up my numpad 23UB to the HHKB... but I feel like it'll be too much clutter right now.

I think there are many factors to it~

1. I'm kind of a clean freak, so I always clean my hands before using my keyboards (I even tell my friends to clean their hands before using it. LOL!)

2. I always put on the Filco plastic dust cover when not using it.

3. I dust my keyboard every day (takes like 10 seconds using a cloth to tap/hit dust off).

4. I use isopropyl alcohol and a white paper towel or clean piece of fabric to wipe it down (at least once a week).

5. My house is currently pet/smoke free.

Hope that helps, babay ~

We dont have winter in Asia  :blank:
When in heavy aircon day, it does feel cold at start but marble tend to adjust with your body temp and does not get too sweaty/hot compare to leather in a long typing session

Great pictures! I love the white Filco cases! That's true, PBT reflects the light rather matte than glossy, and it gives a nice touch to the color of the cap. With ABS caps it's not so easy, since it can be super glossy.

:) I also do clean my hands almost always before using a keyboard, and i even searched for the perfect wet cleaning towels because at work the toilets are far away. I think i'm crazy... Nevermind, something like this:

Love the new camera as it's very compact, but to compare the result with my DSLR still a half way there especially under low light

beautiful.

Lightsaver is currently under rotation for my KMAC
so in desperate attempt, this is my counter shot with my new Fujifilm X100T

Absolutely beautiful!!! It's funny because KMAC would've been one of the two Korea customs I would consider getting (the other being Lightsaver) because of how affordable it is. So good. That Dolch looks great on that case. That angle, yo.

AWWWWW YEEEEEEEH. Raiden knows how to strike a pose :P

That keyboard is lookin' clean~ White Filco's UNITE!

Beautiful set and keyboard! White filcos are always nice :D Filcos give off a unique sound when typing imo too !

Thanks, breh <3 I agree with you on the unique sound part! Filco construction is really sturdy and tight so there's definitely no rattle that some can give off.

Thanks! Yeah, the Filco "white" is actually a beige-like white, so it actually goes very well with the beige-like white IMSTO thick PBT.

Oo! Nice wet cleaning towels. Seems so convenient. I'd consider it but rubbing alcohol is so much cheaper for me :P You're not crazy! Keeping one's keyboard clean is a duty :P

Very nice picture - well shot! :)
