Yeah, it's an ugly Clack.  But the rarity makes it highly collectible.  The price at auction would be crazy.  I would like to see how much it's worth though.

I don't think the wingnut is ugly at all. It's easily my joint favourite clack, along with the red translucent. In fact I would go so far as to say that I like it more than the red translucent.

I agree.  I have grown up in the garage working on bikes/cars/boats and I think it is awesome.  Still love the skulls, but the detail on this one is awesome.

WUT?!!  C'mon guys.  I am #1 Clack fan on the planet.  And I'm telling you the wingnut is not an attractive Clack.

Every one of the Clacks below are far better looking, and this is a pretty ordinary group of Clacks:

Also the detail on the new Gumrot is more impressive than the wingnut.  And the triple shot molding of the 420's is more impressive in terms of manufacturing savoir faire.

I would love to have a wingnut, lasers be willing, so don't get me wrong.  But I'm not afraid to say it's not a good looking Clack.

Today I unearthed yet another prototype ver of CC skull when I visited my brother. He got this in the old days too. The color is very light orange mixed with yellow. Unsure if this keycap would be able to yield these days, but he's going to keep it anyway.

Interesting underside.  The top looks pretty much as they do today though.

Today I unearthed yet another prototype ver of CC skull when I visited my brother. He got this in the old days too. The color is very light orange mixed with yellow. Unsure if this keycap would be able to yield these days, but he's going to keep it anyway.

Sell that Clack to me.  Don't keep that old musty thing in your house one day longer.

Very unlikely that my bro will let this go, the key is in his collection and probably will be there for long

Nah, that Clack is more of a pinky-peach color.  Which is my wheelhouse.  I started using pink keycaps way before it was popular.  So if anybody buys it, it should be me.

For my yellow comparison, which is lagging a bit behind actually ...
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
