I did actually:

It's a lone Majestouch 2 with MX Browns that sat on the shelf of a shop I frequented for quite some time. Initially wanted a Ducky Zero, but most shops here only had Blues (not an option since I'm not living alone) or Reds (don't quite like the feel).

Importing? Nah...exchange rates took a huge hit. I was lucky to be able to snag that MJ2 with the old price.

Nice choice with the Filco! Browns are a pretty good switch, I usually recommend them to new keyboard peeps as they're a pretty good all around switch. I personally like clears as they're as bit heavier with a more pronounced bump. Blues definitely don't work in multi-person environments, though if I really wanted to annoy people, MX Greens would be worth it.

Welcome aboard  :thumb:

Filco Majestouch 2 TKL with Browns was my first keyboard. Have a Pok3r with Blues coming in soon so I can take my Filco to work.

Welcome!

Welcome to Geekhack!

You were lucky to get the Filco!  Nice solid keyboard, it used to be one of the most highly recommended keyboards before other manufacturers started jumping on the bandwagon, and before mechanical keyboards in general became a bit easier to find.

It has a standard layout too, so finding replacement keycap sets should be a breeze.
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
