Title: xwhatsit beamspring controller help
Post by: xueyao on Sun, 23 July 2017, 19:37:45
Hi guys! Recently bought a 3727 and an xwhatsit converter from orihalcon.

I've thoroughly cleaned the entire board including the pcb and the switches. Plugged in according to the manual but for some reason, column 9 which consists of the keys 5, T, G, B, is detected as permanently clicked no matter what voltage I set.

The only thing I havent tried is to swap the position of the switches but I doubt it'll help. The converter has been fully tested by orihalcon using an oscilloscope according to his post so I suspect it might be a fault with the pcb.

Does anyone know how to go about fixing this issue? Really wanna use this board. Thank you guys!

Check the edge connector for dust and the tightness of the backplate.

Wiped clean both, even wiped the pcb to be safe. I'm beginning to suspect there's really something wrong with the controller that orihalcon sent me but unfortunately he isn't replying.
