VW wouldn't deal for the Golf R but my Audi dealer was more than happy to keep me as a customer. Show Image

I'm not a huge fan of the A3... But glad you stayed VAG
Yeah the A3 just looks boring as hell. And that's a nice red too! Congrats on the car, man!
Congrats on the new car Sent! Great taste! Took some photos of the wife's and my car yesterday. Thanks Sent. My garage door got closed on my trunk last year; the bolt on the handle actually caught it and dented/scratched it all the way down the front between the tail lights before I managed to stop the door. While I was trying to figure out what to do, either get it repaired or buy new, the guys at Bulletproof said there was a long lead time on the Do-Lucks. Around that time someone on the Facebook Evolution X owners club organized a group buy for the VIS Carbon Fiber "Demon" trunks, which are similar but the lip is longer and slants backward more. I ended up with a trunk for $500 shipped, and got it painted to match. It fits pretty well, the body shop had to remount the latch for it to line up correctly, but I read that’s pretty common regardless of the manufacture. Cost me a lot less to get this trunk set up than to repair the OEM trunk and I really like the look of the integrated lip rather than the tacked on OEM lip, or the giant spoiler. It also makes it easier to buff and wax, comes out much nicer without the seam of the taped on OEM lip. Show ImageShow ImageShow ImageShow ImageShow Image

Here's my first car, 2005 Jetta GLI. Lowered, chipped, exhaust, intake.Show ImageUnfortunately the low life got to me, so I ended up upgrading to a 2008 R32! Currently only has an intake, but I'd like to get it tuned very soon.Show ImageShow Image
I like it. It's got much more top end power than my last car, the leather seats are super nice (and heated!). To be honest, I definitely miss the Jetta. I enjoyed having a turbo car, and definitely miss it. The AWD is real nice in the winter though, and comes in super handy here (especially with the winter we had last year).
So I woke up yesterday morning to a horrible surpriseShow ImageI had to do what I hate doing, and take my car to the Polish guys down the road to get it cleaned. Better take it to them than let all that crap damage my paintwork. I don't even have any trees near my house.
