New here, can you help me out ?
Reyaz:
Hello my friend i'm a fellow swiss dude, its kinda hard to find ISO pcbs or keyboards set in my experience even more specific CH ISO layout. i currently have my eyes on the ID80v2 which has f keys but no numpads, i'm looking to pair it with custom keycaps from maxkeys keyboards, you can design your own with their inkscape template, but you'll have to choose de colors they have available on their website and the keycaps are not made with PBT which is a shame but its the only ways i'm aware of in order to bypass those ISO CH issues..
i'm also looking for people that found other ways to overcome those problems !
yui:
if you are not about the highest quality caps and just want ISO-CH i think you can buy a GMMK set, or WASD also makes custom pad printed keyset for "cheap" (compared to a double shot set). or if you know how to touch type just buy any US-ISO keyset and you will be set, and very few peoples will be able to use your pc as a bonus :)
(edit: i am french but uses an ISO-PT keyboard on a pc set to a US-International keymap, all wrong but works :) )

Thanks for all the replies. :-* I really appreciate them.
so farm i have 2 ideas sticking in my head.
First. DIY create my custom pcb etc.
Second: If im to lazy for option1, I will order omething from gmmk and start from there.
You helped me a lot. If I'm done with this threath do i have to close it? or can i just leave it be.
yui:
closing it is the "right" thing to do in theory, but not many peoples do it here, and there is a bug that sometimes deletes threads instead of closing them. so do what you think is best when you have finished with a thread, if it is like here and only be ever useful to you, then closing is fine but if it is a constantly updating thread about current trends, maybe not such a good idea.
