Do you have a sales price in mind yet?

On the subject of damage:
I have come across less than 20 keys which have had marks that will disappear with use. I am not the kind of person to think this is excusable, and before anyone tries to say I am intent on letting this stand the record must show that a collective effort is being formed to handle this responsibly. Between [CTRL]ALT and me we are collecting information on orders with keycaps which have issues.
I will provide more information on how we intend to right any issues encountered with your GMK Hyperfuse sets.
If anyone encounters an issue with their set please do not take it out of the packaging before photographing the issue with the keys in the box. To be extra clear the most responsible course of action in case of damage is to take pictures of how it arrived after opening the box. We need to be able to prove to the manufacturer that we did everything in our power to get the sets to you in the best condition possible. With the videos you have seen me post I hope you all trust I am doing my part to ensure the best possible experience. When it comes to getting replacement keys I am afraid I do not know of a reservoir of extras to pull into orders, but please be assured I will do whatever I can to make any issues right.

That's chrome caching your session information. ctrl+f5 does a complete refresh of the page in chrome.

Well thanks. The price was a hard number to come to because I love to make sure people get what they pay for. The extras and keyboard compatibility will make Hyperfuse one of the most sought after sets of this year.
Yeahhhh, but I'm right in the middle of a build so... I think no hyperfuse for me :(
Very sorry to hear that it's not within budget. There may be a few incentives after the fact for people who buy Hyperfuse so stay tuned :)

I think it would be better off to release the artisans separate from the key set rather than a combo so the sets can be sold earlier rather than having to wait for the artisans to be made as well. Either way thought I'm interested. :thumb:

Never bought a GMK set before but these are the sexiest looking keys I've ever seen. Will they work without issue on a Filco MJ2? :)
Should work just fine. Usually the only thing that is not compatible with sets vs keyboards are the bottom row and shift bars. Filco MJ2 seems to be standard 6.25 universal spacebar and 1.25 mods. That's all covered in Hyperfuse.

Just search for US Mail proxies - you'll get a ton of results - they will charge you a small fee and the shipping to your country - I have used them a couple of times in Australia without issue

You thought it important enough to voice your opinion. The issue people are neglecting is the cost. International orders are expensive. I know I can get it less costly if I find a way to ship in bulk to various parts of the world. This saves YOU money, not me. It is VERY important to me that people get the most for their money, and the cost of shipping this package outside of the United States is expensive by my standards.
Because people decided that they wanted to pay the rate for international shipping I can afford it, but it pains me to see the expense of the international package. This was not how I intended things to go.

EDIT: I should note the prices I quoted above are when I go direct to the post office. If you buy shipping labels on line and print them yourself it is slightly cheaper but for international you still have to do all the customs forms as well. Which, you as the seller are responsible for.

im new in this community and who am I to say what you want it to be ... just say that being a community for the world is weird to see that selling this restricted to the US, just that. your work is amazing 100 sets is very good (I couldnt do it) ... just think a little discriminatory (not sure if it's good this word) this difference ... something like "you are from USA? ok you can have access, if you are not then you have to expect that no American wants the 100 sets ", i just think this decision was unlike anything I have seen, but I'm new and maybe i dont understand the implications send things international..

It is complicated to ship internationally. There are more variables, and the time it takes to fill out the forms is significant. For instance if I'm switching between domestic and international formats I can make mistakes and possibly cost both myself and the buyer the entire set as it gets lost in transit. I can't afford this kind of a loss with such an expensive set.
The two issues here are my commitment to making the shipping more affordable, and there are other vendors outside of the United States who bought Hyperfuse for that purpose. I have the exclusive privilege to be the only vendor in the United States. If these sets go overseas then they will likely not travel back here. I am giving my domestic brothers and sisters a chance to get these for a time (tentative date Nov 1st) because it's the only chance they will get at retail. International vendors may not be selling right now, but you may see them in your own country. It's not my place to say who those people are or if they even still have sets yet. Just please understand that as much as I want to be fair to the community, I find it also important to show favoritism to domestic buyers as I've said I would do all along because I am the ONLY person with extra sets in our country.

Shipping overseas implies custom declarations and potential taxes for the buyer, if I understood well, the OP decided to keep the sale within ConUS for simpler shipment procedures, and less risk to get lost packages and the like, that is understandable in a sale for a set that is already at a premium price.
I'm not sure about the UK, but in Canada I would probably have to pay ~$40 in duty & taxes on top of the international shipping cost (~$26). Like Binge said, it is very important to him that people get the most for their money, and 66$+ just to get the product in the hands of the customer is high by any standard.

What I'm about to say is not entirely aimed at you.
Hey, I know he took at shot at you, but the whole thing is past. Nothing about this sale or the people involved is typical, but I'm beginning to see some behavior typical of places other than my sub. The next person I see get defensive about conus/oconus nonsense is just going to be ignored and all posts in reply to any kind of hurt attitude will be delete. If anyone has a grievance with my reasons for acting the way I've said I would act for the past 2 months before the sale ever started please take it up with me privately.

Yep there is no way of knowing what the prices will be like given that is the first real custom GMK GB out there- everything until now has been produced several times and/or is readily available e.g. Dolch, Cyrillic.

With the videos you have seen me post I hope you all trust I am doing my part to ensure the best possible experience. When it comes to getting replacement keys I am afraid I do not know of a reservoir of extras to pull into orders, but please be assured I will do whatever I can to make any issues right.

Yes please! That is awesome, I'll PM you when you get your set. I need to get my FC660M also... Its coming from Korea, turns out mechanicalkeyboards.com ran out of stock so they refunded immediately but I didn't realize, so for the past 10 days I was waiting for a tracking number (I thought I got one...) and then I checked my email and they said they refunded me and that it was out of stock, so now I ordered it from eBay and Korea, so maybe ill get it soon... ABS with smooth surface, as Cherry/GMK have, does not retain much dust, or dirt, as PBT or even ABS with rough surfaces do. In some cases PBT has to be scrubbed and brushed when it gets dirty, ABS keeps clean most of the time, and a simple wash eliminates most dirt when needed, mainly for keyboards that are used in over contaminated environments.

Oh no, i get it. I have stuff i sent out last week that says its still sitting in the Detroit processing facility. I know USPS is pretty crap in my area, so no worries ^-^

This is correct, I am combining orders. When an order is complete I always work in first come first serve. Missing order components, in this case stickets, are grounds for delaying shipment. I apologize for any hurt feelings this may cause, but be assured we have not forgot about you and I spend a significant amount of time triple checking my order details. If there is an issue I will definitely make it right.
Say if you did not receive shipping notification and I have said "all orders have shipped!" please come to me immediately. :)

Keep that photo handy. I need to get the details from Cody, but because this was a [CTRL]ALT GB, extras will be available once we amass a record of the damaged keys.
TIP: wet a microfiber cloth, rub the affected area in a circular motion. If the mark nearly disappears it will go away with use, but again if this is not acceptable please allow us to get our form up and running so that you can claim your damaged key and we'll work on getting your replacement sent, shipped free, at no extra charge to you.

I have gotta say man we can try to get those replaced, but that is stuff you will find normally in doubleshot keycaps. The issue of the F looks like a demolding nick, and the kerning on the R is definitely a little off but nothing that would be rejected by QC.

Generally this is a standard molding concern with injection molded keys. Because the plastic structure changes temperature at different rates a key can shift when demolded, and because the finish of the key is normally so uniform on a perfect shot you can see any variation in the finish of a not so perfect key if the variance is on the scale of 1000-100nm.
::EDIT:: if you ever get into PBT dyesub caps you'll see this behavior much more often. When the keys are reheated to sublimate the applied dye the key will warp ever so slightly. To clarify how this relates to doubleshots... Hot plastic is injected for the first color, and the 2nd color is injected after the first color sets to hard plastic. The application of the 2nd color being near the melting temperature of the 1st plastic by the time it reaches the mold causes slight warps.

It's likely GMK will reject claims for keys in this condition. We will submit all claims and do what we can.

Above is a picture I took and on the white keypad you can see the variations in the keycaps which were caused by heat application (dyesub caps). Manufacturers are not very sympathetic to these kinds of visual defects.

No problems with individual keys here. Mine were also pretty scattered in the box when I opened it, but have yet to notice any scratches/misprints/visible stems. I... would recommend shipping them another way in the future just to be safe, though. To be honest, I've never had any issues with bagged keys and don't totally understand why everyone's reinventing the wheel on key shipping lately.Good feedback. This was no more expensive for me to ship this way than any other. I am again surprised anything shifted. The tests for torture we committed to these sets warranted a good deal of confidence, but this just goes to show how rough shipping can get.
I will always be looking for a better way to show you that I care about what you get. I can say with confidence that any marks on keys were not a result of my method of shipment. The foam would have kept the keys out of harms way.

My OG Cherry is flawless, GMK should take care better of those old molds and keep the injection molding parameters under control.

If it is repetitive is a manufacturing defect most likely due to the mold setup.

I am not the kind of person to think this is excusable, and before anyone tries to say I am intent on letting this stand the record must show that a collective effort is being formed to handle this responsibly. Between [CTRL]ALT and me we are collecting information on orders with keycaps which have issues.
I will provide more information on how we intend to right any issues encountered with your GMK Hyperfuse sets.
If anyone encounters an issue with their set please do not take it out of the packaging before photographing the issue with the keys in the box. To be extra clear the most responsible course of action in case of damage is to take pictures of how it arrived after opening the box. We need to be able to prove to the manufacturer that we did everything in our power to get the sets to you in the best condition possible. With the videos you have seen me post I hope you all trust I am doing my part to ensure the best possible experience. When it comes to getting replacement keys I am afraid I do not know of a reservoir of extras to pull into orders, but please be assured I will do whatever I can to make any issues right.
Please keep your pictures handy, and as also previously try to wet a microfiber cloth and scrub at the abrasion. If it begins to fade the mark will disappear with use, but even then it is not acceptable to get keys in this condition and please standby for the claim-sheet I am working on with CTRL[ALT] in order to get replacement keys.

A couple of my caps had very similar markings on them. I used a microfiber cloth and water and a decent amount of scrubbing and the marks disappeared completely. I don't know if they are the same marks with the same cause that you have on your caps but it is worth a try. Good luck!

the mark on the "t" cap will definitely not go away. It's the bottom purple doubleshot showing through the white.

wowowow, looks like someone stamped the package. It's a common tactic crooked mailmen use to see if heavy (heavy generally means valuable) items will fall out of the package once it is damaged a little.

USPS has been super slow lately, I noticed that all of my packages in circulation with USPS had all of their expected delivery dates pushed back and the tracking info has not updated for a while.

This is what I mentioned about the fade test. If you take some water and a microfiber and scrub the mark should start to fade, if it does, then the mark will go away with use.

I'm sorry to hear that. The good news is there will be a mass of keys just like yours claimed as damaged to GMK. I'll keep updating this thread as we learn more.

Same here. This is the 3rd package that I received late for the last 30 days.
My package arrived perfectly intact. Quickly checked each cap and it looks like nothing got scratched or damaged. I will install them on my tkl later. Sadly, I didn't win the stickets raffle :/ I might just trade my other caps for my first Binge, instead. Hopefully, I can find someone(two caps winners) who will let go of their Hyperfuse Bingecap soon. :-[

Awww yeah. Looks like they're all in really good condition. The "P" is a little transparent (can see the stem outline) but only faintly when I hold it up to a light, at least compared to the other keys.

I just got an OG Cherry set from Europe, it came inside a plastic bag, inside a bubble wrapper, everything was in great shape. The magic of a simple plastic bag is that it will keep its content complete, the bubble wrapper helps cushioning the content against the trip bumps, a simple and proven way to ship caps. The box is nice but why to reinvent the wheel? I got in bags some of the Ivan's GB's stuff all the time with no issues.

I don't disagree, but I quite liked the box, as under it where all the stickers and the box itself came with a logo. It was a nice, novel way to ship keycaps. All the others I've received have come in ziploc bags, I agree, but if my freight forwarder hadn't been so careless, it would've been fine! All other sets that weren't opened arrived pretty solidly.

I liked it man *shrug* can't please everyone, but I'm sure as hell glad I set an alarm for the middle of the night to pick up this set and bought way more stickers than I know what to do with it. Really appreciate your effort and work into this man, thank you.

Wifu and I have been working extra to make sure we have everything ready to go as soon as we can possibly make the moves happen.

Before these can hit the PO we need to have all of our 2Legit holographic order completed. With Vet's day smack dab in the middle of the week we won't see them until Monday. The same can be said for the Hyperfuse NUM ENT keys missing from our final orders. I appreciate everyone who has been patient with us, and want you to know we are on fire to get this all out just so long as the postal service gets us the materials. They've been excessively slow with all of this awesome stuff!

Lack of communication from me has been due to an especially heavy workload to which I can only apologize to those affected by delays. I can assure you the delays are not something I want to throw blame around with, and I have been told we are close to having the entire thing sorted out.
I honestly can't say that I believe anyone involved before the keys get to me-- if this doesn't happen by Christmas I will be sending out the orders of stickets and refunding the remaining Hyperfuse orders. Just want everyone to know that I am on top of the missing keys from my order, and I feel extremely horrid about how much time it's taking to sort it out.
Lack of communication from me has been due to an especially heavy workload to which I can only apologize to those affected by delays. I can assure you the delays are not something I want to throw blame around with, and I have been told we are close to having the entire thing sorted out.
I honestly can't say that I believe anyone involved before the keys get to me-- if this doesn't happen by Christmas I will be sending out the orders of stickets and refunding the remaining Hyperfuse orders. I don't mean to upset anyone by offering that as the only option, but it is getting out of hand and I'm tired.
Hm, it's only the NUM ENT key missing from hyperfuse isn't it? Can I just get the rest of the caps? It's going on a 60% anyway and I'd much rather have the rest of the set than my money back. Maybe a discount for the lack of a full numpad, but those keys would sit useless in the box for me anyway and/or you can always just send them when you get them. It might not be the best option for everyone, but it definitely work for me!

As much as that sucks, because I have a board set aside for it and got some artisans and gmk modifies for this very set, I suppose I would rather this than being tagged along for months. Thank you for all your effort binge and I'm still hoping for the best! Happy holidays and good luck with the hungerworks stuff in the new year.... but for now take yourself a nice break my man.
