Halp! ISO QF XT top case?

Ok, so where on earth would I find a Quickfire XT ISO layout top case? Aside from the one that comes with the board.... because I really don't want no back-up in case I screw the pooch on this one. Especially as this is not for me, it's for my wife. And you don't want to know how good she is at sad puppydog eyes.

There was a run of QFR replacement case tops recently, mainly in response to criticism over the amount of branding on the original cases.

I have not heard of a QFXT case replacement program.

Your best bet might be to either contact CM, or to seek a broken XT to salvage parts from.  Perhaps you could offer to go halves with someone - you get the case, someone else gets the switches?

I've emailed Coolermaster to see if they can help, otherwise you're probably right that acquiring a second-hand case is probably easiest.

This looks really good! A lot of painters on here suggest to sand multiple times while increasing the grit, but it looks like you had a great outcome only using 400 grit.

I've been thinking about customizing my XT's case too- it would be great if they had replacement as I'm definately gonna mess something up. But wouldn't the top part of the case be the same on ISO and ANSI boards? I'm not sure, but it looks like the case itself wouldn't be affected by the layout of the keys.
