I'm back on my Sensei for the time being, and man... I forgot how much this mouse kicks ass. Perfect shape, perfect weight.

Still need to pick up a RAW and do the body swap though... glossy finish == no bueno :(

Sensei looks really nice, but being burned by Razer kinda puts me off the idea of buying another mouse that isn't a G5...

Mouses? Meeces. Or mices.

"Mouses" is accepted if you're referring to "a small handheld device that is dragged across a flat surface to move the cursor on a computer screen, typically having buttons that are pressed to control functions."  ;D

A very boring, black Microsoft Wireless 4000.  It does its job just fine, seeing how I don't play very many intense games.  However, it is a bit small, and my next mouse will definitely be one that I try on for size first.  I'm definitely not going Razer, because I just can't stand their Synapse 2.0 crap.  And once I get a PC, I am totally going Roccat, getting an Isku and a Kone

Using a Razer Imperator (the old one) right now. Nice mouse, but I had to send it back to Razer a few months ago when it started double clicking when I would single click. Planning on upgrading to a Logitech G500 when this inevitably dies, I'm kicking myself for not buying one in the half off sale on Amazon that happened a while ago.

Haha, funny I had a Razer Imperator 2012 before and it started double clicking as well, nice mouse except for that. Got to choose whatever mouse I wanted at the same price when I sent it back to the company I bought it from, so I got myself the Sensei I linked a picture of.

Taking a look at it now and the Sensei does look really nice. I'll have to consider that when I start looking for a new mouse.

Got a new mouse in the mail today. A Sensei Raw Rubberized.

I was very surprised to see that the cable on the Raw version is actually thicker than the more expensive normal Sensei! The rubberized surface is the same material as the sides on both the Raw and normal Sensei, it's nice but I don't know if if prefer the "metal" surface on the normal Sensei or the rubberized surface. Other differences between the two is the lack of an LCD under the mouse to change between different profiles, which doesn't matter since you only have one profile on the Raw version. You also can't change the color on it, which sucks. I like my Pink Sensei more when it comes to looks. Oh, and it's also lighter because it's essentially a stripped down Sensei with a thicker cable.

Raw vs Normal:
+- Lighter (user preference basically)
+ Thicker cable
- Can't change color
- Feels a bit cheaper
+- "only" half the DPI, ~5,5k vs ~11k (I only use 800 so I don't really care)
- No cool LCD screen

I've only faced one problem so far, the drivers can't handle two Sensei's at the same time. Had to unplug my Sensei and reboot, couldn't use either of them after I plugged my Raw in.

It's awesome as long as you like the grip. Great finish, light switches, good build quality. Maybe it could have a bit better sensor, but whatever, it's not a deal-breaker.

Unless the sensor is absolute garbage of the mouse is prone to failure.  It's why I would never buy a R.A.T.  It's also why I still have an MS Intellimouse 1.0 or 1.1 that I still have some 10+ years later that still works perfectly.

+- Lighter (user preference basically)
+ Thicker cable
- Can't change color
- Feels a bit cheaper
+- "only" half the DPI, ~5,5k vs ~11k (I only use 800 so I don't really care)

Yeah, It's basically like if you don't need all the extras that nobody actually need (but may be cool to have just to have, like the LCD  :))) you'd be better of buying the RAW version.
