I have the TL mousepad too but it's gotten really dirty.

The mousepad I'm using right now is just a custom one from ArtsCow that I got for $1. I have like 3 of these

Did you swap out the LED yourself? And what LED did you use? I kinda want to do this to my Taipan now

Only the easy one (5mm). The micro leds I asked to an expert.

)

Two 0603. I think you may use 0804 leds too.

Go for the G9x, it's already on the way out so this is your chance. If you decide you don't like it you can always get one of the others later, chances are you won't be able to get the G9x later if you change your mind.

My mouse gave up on me today, was gonna try and fix it but the connector snapped...

Gonna go and try to buy a new one tomorrow, there is a local shop that has 1 left(MW edition, but I don't use the shell anyway). But I'm afraid it will have scratches on it etc from being shown to customers

Current daily driver is the Gigabyte Aivia M8600.
The old Mircrosoft intellimouse works fine as well after repairing the pinched cable.

So my dream mouse came in the mail today.

Minimalist packaging

It's classy and feature-rich but does not come with unnecessary buttons. Well placed and well thought of.

Side by side with my newly retired ME3 Imperator

Well placed for my ring and pinky finger.

I'm very satisfied with it. The only thing I wished they couldve done is to add some kind of a weight adjustment.
Way too light for my taste but it'll be fine in the long run.

9.7/10 mouse
