I saw AMJ R1 during the 2017 NorCal meet-up and I was really appreciating the compact-ness of it. The case seems really sharp and angular, neither too fat or too shallow. Man I'll have to sell one of my 40% boards to buy it then.

If it comes with blocked corners (1.25 on each side) then I'd buy three at once. :D But I understand that it would not be quite viable given a unibody case.

Actually, does the plate/case work with the Daisy PCB from KP*? Looks like it will. I really like to order one case+plate if possible.

Its might work with the Daisy PCB, but Im not positive though. If you can get exact measurements for the Daisy, I can check it for ya though!

Took a closer look. AMJ40 is tray mounted which requires holes on the plate and the PCB. The holes on the Daisy are located differently so won't match. Will order one anyhow. GLWGB!

Ah yeah that's true. Also the AMJ40 PCB has a pretty tight fit into its case, so even if the screw holes lined up, the Daisy's dimensions may not have fit anyways.

I wish I could get used to a 40%, because these are awesome little boards.  Deceptively heavy.

You definitely need to use one for a week or two to really get used to it. But once you get a hang of where all the other characters and functions are under the layers, it becomes second nature!
It also really helps to make a custom keymap to fit your own needs.

Just got an email that my order from the GB is complete, does that mean we're ahead of schedule? My question was answered by a tracking number in my inbox :D
