love the 3d case, hate the franken set.

---

here is the current state of my ergodox

Giving my original ErgoDox with lubed reds and black aluminum top some attention, some love, It was in my laptop bag for like 3 months.

key caps are Cherry POM from 11900 and DSA PBT for the keys that caps dont fit in, nothing fancy trying to avoid messing up my good sets. plus "scoops, **** yeah"

The 3D printed case looks really nice, gives it this official kind of look.
Is there anyway I could get one?

nice idea for the tild. I'm looking for a good way to tild my ergodox...
So far I'm using a book which kind of works but I'd prefer a more professional solution.

Last night I fashioned the foam so it wasn't as wobbly, and typing on a tilted ErgoDox is by far superior.

If you can, try tilting it up by an additional 20–30° and compare.

I just did, and it feels really nice, and once I get some more foam, I will fully do that as it would look ghetto with random sized foam holding it up.

Got my ErgoDox from the late 2014 MassDrop drop this weekend and got it assembled.  Getting use to it pretty easy.  I layed the keys out to where I am use to hitting them with my Corsair k70. Here is my key config.

I see something i like very much.  :D  I have the M570 already and now I'm trying to make an ErgoDox but I can't decide between the standard case and fullhand version. What do you recommend? Also please tell me what model is your keyboard tray and if it's sturdy enough.

Also I'm having difficulties to find keycaps for ErgoDox. Any suggestion would be welcome.

Guys in the end what do you recommend? The standard case or the fullhand version? Do you think that is better to go with standard version and to try to improve my typing technique (meaning don't rest on my wrists anymore.)

I'm finally mostly happy with the layout, esp. the thumb keys (although I'd appreciate higher-quality tall ones).

They're clean, only ABS is yellowed and the flash might have exposed some dust here and there.

There are hybrid alps/mx plates, so 1.5mm should be fine, I would think, if thats how thick the plate pieces are

How much heavier is "kind of a heavy"? Is this in Black territory, or lighter than that? And are you using the 60g springs from MK.com? The reason I ask is because I plan to do this with my Browns as well and wanted to know your thoughts on them. I threw a Black spring into a Brown on my switch tester and really fell in love with the feel. Would the 60g compare to this? Cheers!
