I would contact them and ask. You might need to get some sort of identification about the mold from 7bit but SP is very friendly. Prices can be high for low quantity orders but you can definitely try.

Signature did short us on Terran Win keys (I did not get mine), so maybe there will be an interim order to correct that and some of the other shortages. Perhaps additional Starcraft keys could be produced at that time.

I am not going to be part of organizing anything for the next round. :sorry: If somehow the SVG files needed changes, I could take care of. But since they turned out freaking awesome in the last round I don't think any adjustments are necessary.

srsly! They are the cleanest and best-looking of the novelty keys in round 3 by far.

I wonder if people would want a set for all the units in the Protoss, Zerg, and Terran units/buildings and replace the hot keys for them or if possible have the letters in the front like the CS ones i saw

I know I would want a set of each myself lol and I'm sure theres a market for those with the amount of gamers on teamliquid

You would need both grid and standard sc layouts though.

Me too! No need to label the keys with the letter on the front though. That way they would look good for any layout, including custom key bindings.

If I knew _anything_ at all about how to organize a group buy I would be all over it, would need to design all of the units as well as all the buildings, the sets would be pretty big

Protoss - 15 Units | 15 Buildings
Terran - 14 Units | 15 Buildings
Zerg - 16 Units | 18 Buildings

That way you can put a Nexus/CC/Hatch on like the 5 key or whatever you hotkey it to in game, and then your warp gates/barracks to the 4 key and so on lol

But this is a LOT of work though, hell I'll be happy with just a probe/SCV/Drone key cap that itself would look awesome on a keyboard

After reading more into SVG and how to make key caps, don't if its possible because of the details in the units/buildings, I mean I _think_ it's possible still with adjustments to the units/buildings but my skills at this is terrible so I wouldn't even know how to go about with it

If we can't get all the detailed keycaps and everything, I would recommend just doing this: just use different colored keycaps for all the hotkeys. It works fine for me, and it's not super expensive. =)

There are specs in the various round three threads (all forty of them) on the SVG files. The current crop of SC2 keys push at the very edge of the level of detail possible, and I made compromises. For example, the number of spines in the Zerg logo is fewer than the "standard" logo. The two slit details on the right side of the Protoss logo are about 5 times thicker than they are in the regular graphics, and the pointy top is considerably shortened so that the whole logo could be larger allowing more detail. It took a lot of work to hide my work.

The labor involved in creating the SVG files for the the hundred or so keys proposed would be measured in hundreds of metric ass-years.

Yeah reading on how to making an SVG file does not seem easy at all, how 3 keys, a probe on a yellow key, a SCV on a red key, and a Drone on a purple key, and instead of using the entire model for the key cap we can use the silhouette/outline for it, not sure how that would look, maybe they would just look like a blob of black on a colour key. This is MUCH less work then my other idea and it could still look awesome

I've got the SVGs on the Round 3 starcraft keys already. They came out in perfect shape. Would be no problem to add them.

Could do Blink too and any other that would work well in one color... this image just needs to be converted to .SVG (unless it needs to be a different size.) I think I need to find the Photoshop plugin for it. This on a red key would be sex imo. Or blue... hmm.
