Hey guys, been a bit afk working on this.  I measure a whole bunch of holes and they all seem to be 3mm instead of the 2.5mm I requested.  I'm going to get a set of M3 screws from a local place tomorrow since I have a few days off work.  I'm going to be getting this sorted out as quickly as I can.  I love that you guys are coming up with solutions, and if the M3 doesn't work I'll definitely have to look into them.

Thanks for being understanding everyone, it's not a situation I want any of us to be in.

I would not recommend set screws for this particular application. Set screws will not work in this case, you do need a screw head to fasten the plate into the case (that's the issue I gather based on the video, correct me if I'm wrong and this is not the actual problem we have here)

I am thinking that it would be a lot more expensive then instead of ordering it online but that is just a guess but maybe also because he needs a large quantity of them. I don't think a local hardware would have enough M3 screws for every board in this GB so he could maybe do that if the price isn't crazy high for a first batch of shipments and then get the others out with ordered screws but I ain't sure how that would be in reality

Yea I've been eyeing a tkl and there's so many options out there right now but I always come back to this thread and want the 27.
