"Alps MX blue" keyboard on ebay?
« on: Fri, 11 July 2014, 14:37:20 »
Was out and about surfing ebay and I found this keyboard titled "Professional Full Size Mechanical Gaming Keyboard With ALPS MX BLUE Switches".

Initially thought it was keyword spamming until I saw that it had 11 units sold and this picture in the description:
  ;D

The alps stems seem a little too blue to me...
Anybody here have experience with this particular board?

WHOOPS forgot the link!

I can't remember the details, but I know this has been posted before and the conclusion was that it's not Blue complicated ALPS... FWIW.
Please consider carefully before you decide to comment, for Jesus.

It's the same ****ty alps clones that are in the Rosewill board.

Could somebody who has actually used them describe what they are like?

Using meaningful adjectives that convey information?

"The Trump campaign announced in a letter that Republican candidates and committees are now expected to pay “a minimum of 5% of all fundraising solicitations to Trump National Committee JFC” for using his “name, image, and likeness in fundraising solicitations.”
“Any split that is higher than 5%,” the letter states, “will be seen favorably by the RNC and President Trump's campaign and is routinely reported to the highest levels of leadership within both organizations.”"

There was a review of that Rosewill board here. IIRC it's called the striker.

They are apparently not consistent enough, with variation on the click. On one of them that either didn't click or had very little click, a stronger Alps spring was placed inside and then it clicked properly.
