Discovered sometime around 850 AD, coffee is one of the most ubiquitous items in our world today. It’s hard to imagine any day without coffee, so why not have it be a part of our keycaps too? Welcome to the Interest Check for GMK Café!

Space for updates
5.21.19 - removed Jane render incorrectly showing dark alpha ISO compatibility. It may become a part of the kit if people ask for it, but is not currently and didn't want to share incorrect info.
5.23.19 - added in two new board renders (m65-a and Jane V2 with correct ISO support) - US vendor and EU proxy announced
5.29.19 - added poll for potential deskmat options
5.31.19 - added comparison to colors CR and WS2 to better illustrate the set's colors
6.18.19 - announced date, RAMA caps, and deskmat poll winner - Updated kits with proper renders added
6.26.19 - updated black kit to include mono dark F row compat
7.22.19 - Announced price and reorganized Interest Check
9.5.19 - Updated kits to final final finals
9.23.19 - Updated Sugar kit to have bar homing to match other homing keys.

For the updates to the kits (9.5.2019):

Moved the mod colored spacebars into the dark kit. This was requested and made a whole bunch of sense, TBH.

Did not change the 40s kit

Removed full UK dark ISO support, leaving basic dark ISO support - this was a very difficult decision that was made out of a desire to keep the kit prices low and supporting out UK brothers and sisters. We kept light alpha UK support but removed dark since that was more niche.

Moved the two 1800 keys into the sugar kit from the base kit

Added a duplicate tab key into the base kit - this should allow to cover two boards (up to a 65% and TKL) when buying the base and dark alphas kits. The bottom rows would be different but it does work out. More coverage and bang for your buck that way.

Finally a good-looking coffee set!

That light brown is perfect. Looks like coffee ice cream.

That said, the renders look stark black/white, like GMK Monochrome or GMK Metaverse. The brown in the mods is totally lost, and the bright white seems out of place, considering you're probably looking to emulate cream or milk. If the contrast is that strong in real life, I'd sooner just buy the brown accent kit to pair with WoB or something.

Looks really good, definitely following this thread. IMO, nothing wrong with providing a GMK Olivia look-alike, so long as they are okay with it and isn't planning to run something like this as well.

It's difficult to get the brown right in the renders. The RAL chip makes it clearer though.

Yea I was hoping for that. Maybe slightly lighter than the coffee set because it was pretty dark, but not this light. Oh well.

I personally (And this is NOTHING against OP and the set) would not think coffee if I saw this set without any of the novelties.

It's just the renders I think. The color palette is a nice warm creamy white. But in the renders they look stark and bright.
