So I am thinking of running a very small, independent group buy for Dasher/Dancer 1u blanks. Is there any interest in this? Please note this is for 1u blanks only. It is primarily intended for folks who want to put blanks in the top row or fill in spots in their small format, alternate layout keyboards, and for ErgoDox users who want a set of R3 blanks for their "bottom rows".

There would be six possible kits as shown in the graphic below. Each kit consists of four keycaps at $5 per kit. ErgoDox users can order 5-piece R3 kits for $6 (obviously they'll want two of them). Shipping would be $5 domestic (US) or $10 international (sent from California).

The plan is for these to be produced at the same time SP is running out all the keycaps for Dasher/Dancer, so you'd get them (from me) around the same time you'd be receiving your MassDrop order. There would be no MOQ, but there would also be no "price tiers".

Can't say no to more Dasher/Dancer keys, even if I'm not sure what I'll do with them (yet). I' be happy to buy one of each kit.

Have to look at the layout again, but I think these could be used to fill out a subatomic board when that comes out in the near future. Kicking myself for not ordering a planck set, but this just might save me

Finally received all my Dasher kits today. It's beautiful!

I got some blank dark blue, light blue keys out of the grab bag actually. It's nice to have some neat blank caps to complete all the keys for my atreus 62.

That's a good suggestion, sevenseacat. It probably makes sense for a lot of people to buy blanks directly from SP, while their supplies last. Note, however, that row 1 and row 3 blanks in BO are already sold out, which is not surprising since their blanks are typically just leftovers from a production run and they tend to sell out pretty quickly.

Good suggestion. The stock is back now, all the profiles of BO and BBJ keys are available.

Ordered a few rows of R1/R2/R3/R4 in both blue colors so that I could have a blank row of the Fn zone, like the classical dasher keyboard, a blank line in the home row, or have a totally blank alpha set for Ergodox. Those BO/BBJ colors never look poor to me even without legend on them.

Yes, I still plan to sell the 1u blanks in packs of 4 or 5. I just thought it would be wiser to wait until SP exhausted their leftover inventory so that I wouldn't be competing with them.
