I'll be building my first custom pretty soon, and I'm looking at switches. This board will only be used at home where the majority of the use it will see is gaming. I currently use MX Browns and Logitech's switch, the Romer G (which I actually really like). I'm concerned that even though these feel smooth, they would be too heavy. I'm glad I have a month to make up my mind, but these are definitely on my radar screen. Just wish there was a way to test them.

Remember, these are bottom out force weights, not actuation forces! The 65g spring weight is only slightly heavier than an MX Brown switch.

I think I prefer heavier springs in general so should look at 67g. The different measurements confuse me. I think I prefer whites to blues. What's the closest match here?

If you like heavier weights, then go with 67g. It's got a crisper bump than 65g. 65g has the "drawn out" bump that a lot of people like from ergo clears.

Do you want to FEEL the resistance when you type, or do you just want a smooth motion? If you want to feel it, get 67g, otherwise get 65g.

I might have missed this, but - will the GB order be sent and production start after orders close, or are you starting the process before that and invoicing as you go?

One vial (2ml) is enough for ~100 keys as long as you're using lube in moderation. For linear switches, you'll want to pick up thin lube.

"If you're going to put in the effort in desoldering switches, you might as well swap out the old plate for a custom, switch top removable top plate".

Aftermarket PCBs don't exist yet. They are being developed, however. Special 4 pin RGB LEDs will be stocked by me shortly after I or someone else releases an aftermarket in-switch 4pin RGB PCB.

IIRC the GB will end as planned on the 30th, but after an uncertain date (the 12th isn't fixed yet I guess) people who order will not get the chance to be included in the Binge raffle.

Thanks, I just ordered via Paypal for some Purple 62g and 67g switches here  .  Curious to fit them out in a Kmac Mini, to see if they are any better than a standard CherryMX switch.
