That's my struggle. I was planning on HHKB, cause it lets that case pop through the front a bit with some shine or color, but in this case the accented pen rail is enough that I feel like even a standard layout looks sexy.

I think my personal preference (fwiw) is the WKL - I think it adds a nice balance to the forehead and pen rail.

On his discord he's already talked about running a J-03 which looks like a 78key layout. Probably not for a year or two though.

No firm plans for anything after the J-02 yet. Lots of small projects though.

The J-03 is not certain to go beyond prototype tbh. I’d hate to say something is coming and then never get round to it.

UPDATE - Dates, Timings, HHKB and more!!

HHKB layout is IN!! We will have these tops as an option after significant interest

Limited Edition Raffle starts on 1st Feb at around 10am EST - Asian and Western forms will be live at the same time via @iLouis_07 | iLumkb.com and myself. Links will be posted here, Cannon Keys and Mykeyboard Discords, My Discord and Reddit and will be open for 48 hours before drawing.

Standard Edition will be live at all proxies on the 8th February at 10am EST!

Finally - as a small upgrade all orders will get their boards shipped in a protective travel case as well!! I'll share some pictures of these prior to the GB

Now that the HHKB layout is in, will the PCB support split backspace? I quite like using what is usually the backslash on ANSI as backspace with the tilde and backslash on the two keys created by splitting what is usually backspace. I read that the layout would be fixed in earlier replies, but I figured that since a classic HHKB layout has a split backspace, this might or might not change things.

No the plates won’t support a 6.25u space as part of the GB. As soon as the GB is closed all plate files will be shared in case anyone wants to amend and get something custom made

The design is the same yes - just the material change from brass to copper and the choice of finish
