will the first batch winner announce with 30 min?
Yes would be good to know so we don’t have to submit twice if we got lucky the first time.

Do you live in the US East Coast timezone? It's definitely 4:18pm now.

From a few minutes before 4pm to a few minutes after I saw anywhere from 70 to 95 users reading this thread.  If all of them were trying to get in on this, there were about four people for every available slot.  It would be nice to know who got in on the 268 AG before the mad scramble for the 20 slots for the 268 begins at 4:30.

I don't get the timing. I'm in europe, so not used to EDT/EST time, so just google it. Some say it's already 4pm but timeanddate say 3. What am i missing?

Technically he's right. EST is Eastern Standard Time. If we were currently in standard time it would be 3 not 4. But we are currently in DST which means its EDT not EST. :P

Yeah, just realized that upon doing some Google magic. Hmm... At this point it looks like the 268 AG is full.

Sorry, we're in EDT now, which means daylight savings.  clocks go back 1 hour, meaning it's 4:23 right now, not 3:23

ok. Is the 268 version the mass production version? I think xondat mentioned that there will be another round coming?

Also is the only difference b/w AG and standard the color and numbering?

Going to work on the spreadsheet and post it soon. I'll be invoicing shortly afterwards.

If you accidentally entered AG and would prefer the standard one, please PM me ASAP.

Congrats to you as well :D. Now the hard part. Picking a color and whether or not I want a blocker. I originally put down purple top black bottom, then I thought dark grey bottom, but I'm also tempted to just go with a like forest green or deep navy blue top instead.

The blocker looks so much better, I just can't decide if I could get a layout I'd like on it. On my tada68 I have fn and right ctrl mapped as fn keys and when they are both pressed together (which I can do with my thumb) it goes to a different layer. With the 1.25 bottom row like the 68 key, I think I could just abandon the right alt key and get the functionality I want, but the real problem is the default 7u layout on the universal picture is basically perfect as it's the same layout as my 60s are. But then I would have no choice but to lose the double fn key.

What is everyone else going with (and why)? What kinda layouts? (and what colors, etc :P)

Well assuming you want standard colors (silver/grey) then it's a preference of weight design. Myself, i prefer the one-piece weight.

350, but didn't come with a PCB

don't forget, it's not really the material that costs money, it's the machine time

Im going with the 68 key layout, and the associated fixed layout plate. Blocker, Brass plate, and gonna try for a "British Racing Green" inspired anno.

Gonna have to dig up a set of coniferous i thinks, but plum will look great with green any day of the week.

Coniferous is exactly why I was thinking green. And someday senna. But then navy blue would work so good with yuri and calm depths and solarized dark and nautilus.

But purple would look good with laser.

What’s British racing green? Is it like the foresty green like Aston uses?

Material cost I think.  unless the 268 has a better machining or improvement  on sth else.

Material cost is the same for both, the bulk of cost comes from machining.
