DCS Toxic was pantone 389c if you like that yellow/green green/yellow color that almost fluctuates based on lighting and whatever else it is next to.

Looks like these two sets will happen no matter what, so that's probably why there's no MOQ and why no date is listed. Basically they could keep taking orders up until a few weeks before production starts.

But that's just my speculation. I'm interested in DSA Plague and I am also interested in an answer in order to plan the how to allocate funds.

EU is currently 174 EUR, zFrontier is ~144 EUR and US is ~139 EUR.

Hey guys. Sorry to bring the bad news, but sales did not meet expectations and we weren't able to reach MOQ even with buying extras for retail. All participants should see a refund in their accounts!

I will not discard this design, but instead try again next year, maybe with a different profile.

Wait a minute. So first the price drops, meaning that somebody committed for plenty of sets to not only reach MOQ but also reach a point where the price dropped. Then the GB is canceled. Is it safe to assume that somebody that has backed the project with a large order decided to no longer support it?

No, kono negotiated a better price to help reach MOQ, but it was not successful still.

I think 165$ was actually pretty good considering it was a full kit with specialties and 40% support, as well as accent spacebars and a lot of novelties with a total of 20 new legends. I will see what others options I might have next year.

Yeah I thought the price was pretty high until I looked at what was actually in the kit. Per key, it was pretty dang reasonable, especially with all the novelties.

yeah i thought the price was pretty fair considering the novelties also included. i really wanted to get both but only opted for one. looking forward to this coming back. maybe around the time the new wow expansion drops

keyset was nice but two huge turn offs. One the price yea it included everything under the sun. The problem was I didn't need everything under the sun. I only needed a 1.75 shift and TKL I could have filled out the board's I was thinking of using it on.

The other problem was who you ran the US buy thought. I sorry but I am not a fan of Kono my opinion of them is low. They seem to blame other's for there mistake's. They also in my opinion botched Lime allowing it thought with such poor quality control.

I am sure both of these factors played a role in how the kit did. I would say pair down the kits break them up and try finding someone more repeatable to run things. Then try again. perhaps even look at having the key's ran in XDA that is a fun profile thats cheaper specially if you wanted to keep compatibility the same while making it more cost effective. I don't mind paying for everything under the sun when it cost about as much as my basic needs.

I guess it's also a matter of how much you like the colors and/or novelties coupled with your opinion on the profile of the set.

For example I will skip the SA Green Screen since I like it a bit but not as much as to pay the asking price. Plus I find that for me the SA or the MT3 profile work only on flat KBs, anything with an angle and I can't really hit the keys properly.

On the other hand, I really like the DSA profile and the fact that I can use it on KBs with any angle, with or without the feet raised. Also I really liked the neon green of DSA Plague and it's novelties, therefore I was willing to spend the money on it as I knew I will enjoy it. Also I paid more for DSA Hana (direct from SP) and DSA Royal Navy (from GB leftovers) because I really like their looks.

That's why I hope that if this set comes back, it will still be DSA, with Cherry as the second option.

I'm not the hugest fan of DSA. The uniformity is fine, but the keys themselves (from SP anyway, don't have any other DSA sets) are thin and don't feel great to type on as a result. Too tappy, not clacky enough.

I’m late to this; however, if both sets are attempted again in DSA, I’ll buy both. Hate to say it, but I believe if both full sets were offered on Mass Drop, they would have been successful....
