Update

The private Ursus (CL) group buy was fulfilled last month, and I'm working out the final details before the public group buy.

I've finished designing the EC PCB and plate. The EC PCB will be using the same high end Murata, Nexperia and Panasonic
passive and active parts as the MX PCB, but will be using the STM32G474 as opposed to the STM32F411 used for the MX variant.
It will also utilize additional high end Texas Instruments analog components for sensing, amplification, voltage referencing and
multiplexing for the analog side of the circuit.
The EC variant will be compatible with most aftermarket domes/housings made for Topre. It will be available as a standard option
and as an extra add-on. My estimate would be that it will be about €100 more than the MX variants.

I've been working with a high end classical instrument case manufacturer on a fiberglass travel case for Ursus. It will be comprised
of a Custom moulded fiberglass exterior shell, and a CNC machined close cell EVA foam, lined with short pile velvet. I'm currently
waiting for the prototype from the manufacturer. Pricing is not final, but I expect it to be a €130-140 add-on, based on the
manufacturers estimates.

An update will be coming soon with the final details for the public group buy.
As always, Questions are welcome.

ND filters seem like a scam,

If it reduces light, you get longer shutter speed, so it says that ADDS motion blur.

If you want motion blur, just do it in post. why would you want to add blur to the entire capture time you're in the air.

Were gon' fly dron this morning, buhhh then looked at the clouds,  even though it weren't raining at the spot Tp4 were @,  since the dron covers a big area, can't really tell if it gon' be a little drizzle.

Tp4 still 2x2p00r to buy another dron just like that.

Didn't SP use to sell a katakana dsa set (grey red iirc)? How about alt alphas?

On 40s Discord, we determined these were dye-subbed.

do you really believe there are more people who intend to buy the hangul alphas to mix with their other keysets rather than people who would rather have the whole set with hangul in the first place without needing to pay for an extra set of alphas

I saw these during Geon's recent stream and man am I eager to try them.
can you please offer a EU vendor? such as deltakeyco. unikeys is fine too.

For now we don't have a EU based vendor. Unikeys should be able to ship to EU tho they are NA based.

I would love to try these out, but the $50+ shipping fee from Geon to the UK makes an order for just stabilisers impractical for international customers.

Please consider contacting a UK based vendor

Hi! We have successfully collaborate with UK-Based Vendor ProtoTypist! You can follow their social media or join their community for the product! Cheers!

Classifieds / Re: WTB HHKB Pro 2 service

have you considered just swapping out the controller with something 'updated' like https://cannonkeys.com/products/cipulot-ec-pcbs-and-daughterboards We used to use Hasu boards, and then i know Keeb.io made one briefly... i'm not sure of any others but maybe someone can chime in.

I ended up going with the PCB replacements mentioned above, and overall seems okay. The installation process was a bit confusing just due to lack of clear documentation on how the board arrives blank, how to find the right firmware to flash but overall I think after struggling for a bit, I was able to get it working :)

I did have to cut off some the sides of my micro-usb entry on my HHKB case as the PCB comes with USB-C. I have my layout follow the standard HHKB format, although it does feel a bit different than standard OEM PCB (obviously) or closer to when I was using the 3rd party Bluetooth PCB for my HHKB Pro 2. There is a certain sense of safety when using the original HHKB firmware but overall I don't notice it much after a bit of use.

One minor annoyance is that I ended up going with their EC Pro-2 Bundle and the LEDs on the bottom of the PCB are kinda annoying as they bleed through my case. :/
