Hi friends of Geekhack, its been a long while and this is finally coming!

First of all, sorry for not updating anything for a long time. It's a tough year. The coronavirus has severely affected everyone including us. So please stay safe and always careful about your health. We hope everyone can get through it.

Let's get to the point!

We are preparing the GH Noah group buy now. Details will show below.

Renders
We offered 2 types of top case: Normal and WKL. We also made some changes compare to the China gb one.

Please note that these renders are for reference only.

This time, we will provide many coating and anodizing colors. You can chose them for your top case, bottom case and some accessories all by yourself. Hope you guys having fun with the color combination!

PS: You can think of Coating as the same thing as Cerakote. We dont wanna call it Cerakote because we are using different powders.

for a top/bot/plate/weight design, yes, 410 would be on the high end. but this is a bit more complex with more pieces, so no, 410 isnt steep.

Yeah, more renders of the colours would be great. I've been struggling to come up with a combination of colours that I like but its proven difficult since a lot of the colours offered in previous runs in china are not available.

There doesn't seem to be many dark colour options thus far apart from black and would it be possible to have red as a decorative plate as an option?

Hello,

So far from streamers who have built the Noah seems to have a hard time getting the board to sound right. It seems that 4 x screws is not enough to prevent the bottom piece of the case to rattle if you knock on it like a door. Will Matrix review and add 2 more screws in the middle on the top and bottom of the bottom case instead of just 4 screws on each corner?

in the case of Portugal you have to show proof of payment to validade the customs tax that will be applied.
so it won't be solved by the declared value being 20 usd unless there is a separate invoice with those 20 usd

I don't think they'll ship it to me then. There are a few youtubers that get stuff sent to them from outside of EU, and when those packages are bigger or more expensive they can't clear it from customs, and the item will then be returned as they didn't have any proof of payment.

A user on mechmarket mentioned having to file down part of the plate to get one of the switches to fit properly. Minterly also had some issues with some that she's built:

2. the other render with blue bottom case, is that top case the Coating White? if not what is it?

Does somebody know what the bottom colour in the first picture is ? If its not warm grey, maybe it is ano or coated black ?

There's only a black coating for the bottom part, so i guess thats it

I figured. For those who may want to exactly replicate the two renders:
1. coating white top case + coating blue bottom case + ano silver armor belt + coating yellow strip
2. ano silver (Not coating cool gray) top case + coating black bottom case + coating yellow armor belt + ano red strip

And, GB date announced to be: 27/07-30/07.

gasket mount doesn't necessarily justify higher price than non-gasket designs, there are other factors,
for me I like this kit having more pieces and details, and more importantly it's just very beautiful to my eye,
Think 6.5 v2 is a nice board too, but not everyone is badge fan, I would buy it for sure if there's no badge at all.

There should be an option for a pre-select kit for us to choose from where the parts and colours are selected for us. Full customization is good but it is giving me a headache.
