Ok, so most of the scuffednes should be fixed now, if anyone one is still having problem, please let me know. This is how it looks for me
...this is definitely not how I envisioned this to go :blank:

This looks really good! Reminds me of a tastier version of GMK Chocolatier.
v nice!!!
Found a colour representation, this is what it makes me think of:Show Image(https://ikiosk.dk/9-large_default/aero-mint-chocolate-bar.jpg)

I'd like to pair this with a Green-colored anodized Planck case from Drop, but I'm hesitant to, since outfitting that 47-key layout means buying over 200 of these keycaps. Might be worth it tho, if the Extension kit had these added:
- 2nd 2u R4C spacebar
- 2nd 1u R4 Shift
- R3 1u Enter
I have never heard of this candy, but looking at these pictures alone actually already makes my mouth watery + the colour are actually pretty much identical to what I used for the set ;D
Maybe a little nitpicky, but in Katakana, the vowel extension line follows the direction of writing.
So: ホットチョコレート
Or:
ホ
ッ
ト
チ
ョ
コ
レ
|
ト
One extra 2u space would be great on the extention kit!
I did a similar theme a few years ago. Good luck :thumb:Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/3G4UphU.jpg)Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/r6mavDd.jpg)Show Image(https://i.imgur.com/qrhr0xJ.jpg)
Nice, thank you, yours looks really good too imo, I actually even thought about doing this set in SA profile aswell, a while ago :DI did a similar theme a few years ago. This looks great but I wish you'd make it in SA
This feels close to JTK avocado but inverse. dig it :thumb:
I'm incredibly happy to announce that ProtoTypist will be bringing you this set as the UK-and possibly even Lead-Vendor!
Consider the following suggestions for your kits:
- Add R3 PgUp, R4 PgDn for 65%/75% users.
- Drop second 1u Ctrl (useless key for anything ≥60%).
- Change R4 \| to <> to avoid duplicate legends.
- Add missing ー top-right sublegend to the -_ほ key (example (https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/735179686186844202/746114733308117053/gmk_js_kit_01_base.jpg)).
- Consider using System or Super instead of Code for the OS key legends.
Is this a grass block from Minecraft?
The Dessert (Base Kit):
-replaced the r3 "pipe" key with r3 "~#" key
…
-changed r4 "|" to "<>"
Actually... those two changes together have made things worse. It should be R4 <> and R3 \| (English (US), terminal style); R4 \| and R3 #~ is the common "partial British support". The <>/#~ combo in the kit, as it stands now, makes no sense.
Although I went with the "R4 \|"and "R3 #~" (also for Hiragana) combo, since I much prefer it that way personally, and believe it to be more fitting.

Please note that the R4 ISO key in hiragana should be ろ regardless of whether the base legend is <> or \|. See this diagram (https://imgur.com/3YODxTM) and pay regard to the notes at the bottom.
You may also be interested in reading about the intricacies of choosing the ISO legends. I've written about this before here (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=90706.msg2894820#msg2894820) and also presented some statistics here (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=106305.msg2908129#msg2908129). While I do make the case that \|, <> are objectively more consistent and more useful, keeping the legends that you have a strong personal preference for is fine and no one can fault you for that.
any pics of the rama artisan?
what a great shade of brown! nice chocolatey look. also love your pfp power miners was a staple of my childhood
I would suggest making the を character ever so slightly larger in the renders (make it the same relative size as the わ below it), so that it's completely conspicuous that it's using the correct mold with the larger character.
Taking a look at the current extensions kit:Show Image(https://geekhack.org/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=107782.0;attach=251069;image)
It's missing a few keys which are necessary to consummate support for the boards which it appears to be targeting. I suggest making it more similar to this kit (https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/752779885600309278/774962987240390656/05_Obscure.png). More specifically, I recommend making the following changes:
- Add R2 1.75u Backspace — having 1.5u Enter requires this key to also be present.
- Add R4 1.75u Lock — same as above.
- Remove R4 1.25u Shift — there is already one in the base kit, so this one is redundant.
- Add R3 1u Enter — for ortho layouts that don't put Enter on R4.
- Add a second R4 1u Shift — same as above.
- Change R3 1u Tab to a generic legend such as Code — this gives ortho users more versatility (a more detailed explanation can be found here (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=108764.msg2962435#msg2962435)).
- Change R3 1.25u Enter to a generic legend such as Code — this gives 40s users more versatility, while not affecting existing compatibility negatively.
Also, please don't forget about this:I would suggest making the を character ever so slightly larger in the renders (make it the same relative size as the わ below it), so that it's completely conspicuous that it's using the correct mold with the larger character.
I regret to inform everyone that we will be removing AuraMech from the vendors list mid buy. I apologize to anyone in Canada who was looking to buy it from a Canadian vendor. After some discussion with Space, we both are concerned about AuraMech as a vendor as there has not been any communication with him for anything related to the Group Buy since day 1, about 10 days have gone by and he has not responded to anything nor has he posted any numbers related to the group buy. Other concerns started to arise when we discovered that people in his discord are also having a hard time trying to reach Anthony (AuraMech). Then this post came out https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/jsofrm/caution_against_ordering_from_auramech/ raising more concern for him as a vendor. I have requested him to begin canceling all orders for Fundamentals on his site and apologize for this, as the designer of the set it was my responsibility to trust these vendors to do a good job in running the keyset on their sites. I feel that I have let you guys down and will work to make sure that the vendors that I work with are reliable and trustworthy.
Update:
Hello everyone, today I got a huge update (although it's not the one I originally promised).
A few days ago now, I had been informed by Ragan, from SpaceCables, that he unfortunately, due to the, even after the second round of quotes from GMK, current price of the kits, plus/and most importantly currently relatively low demand for the set, would not be able to run this set.
Over the past few days I have been in talks with the amazing people behind Kono (which was actually the shop I bought my first ever keycap set from, back in the days), who have graciously agreed to step in, when I needed them the most, and help me bring this incredible dream of mine to live.
Because of that, the Group Buy for Matcha Mocha won't be able to start on Dec 1st, as we originally planned, but instead, will most likely have its new starting date on January the 19th (2021).
We are currently still speaking with all the other vendors, if that date would work for their schedule as well, and I will let you guys know, as soon as I got any news on it!
Until then, sorry for all the inconveniences and stay save!
Just wondering, what is the MOQ? For a set with 2 colors and a smaller base kit than GMK Storm (with 7 custom colors), why is the pricing the same?
Hope you'll make another attempt. I'd prefer ePBT for the 15$ nomad kits.
