Educate by giving good advice not by putting off with worse scenario scary stories.
Simply unplugging it is not going to guarantee you have discharged everything.

But in reality it comes down of how sensitive you are and how you personally feel when you touch the keyboard, in reality they don't have to much of a difference

If construction is good a plastic keyboard is actually nicer to type on and the sound is nicer too. I think the reason we see so many aluminium custom boards is that for short runs or is easier to do than have malls made.
I just got the Melgeek Modem 97, which isn't metal, but it is a beast. Heavy enough to not move anywhere due to typing.

« Last post by GrayMatter4tw on Tue, 07 May 2024, 05:28:14 »When doing something for long enough you eventually lose that spark that started the hobby, however I come back to it once in a while every few years or even a few times a year, depends on how I'm feeling about it, so I guess it's fun to stay updated on your once main hobby especially if you've spent DAYS of your life on it and see what else has changed, kind of like a grandparent who enjoys listening to his grandchildren tell them about what they learned today and they feel happy
