Sorry if I missed this somewhere, but are you asking for a new geekhack logo or just a new implementation of the current logo?
I like bottom right and bottom left :D
My surname's cooper, so Ill vouch for that :D But i do like bottom left with the underlining :D

Tis the old logo from 2010 or so, grabbed it from the Wayback Machine and rehosted to imgur.
can you fade the keys that don't have text on them?
Can I get a full-size image of that via PM or summat? I really like that one.can you fade the keys that don't have text on them?
How's this.

Everything's free on the internet :D
Hey Krogenar, I really like that geekhack logo^. What kind of software did you use to generate it? I am trying to make a logo myself for a class but am not sure where to start. Anyways, any suggestions or ideas are welcome.
Too lazy to Photoshop right now, but I would love to see one spelled out on steel typewriter heads like this

Your picture is broken Krog! We need more beautiful pictures!
Make a quilt sown together in a typical keyboard layout?
I don't mind seeing the designs used elsewhere. Shoot me a PM with your email. Maybe there's someplace on the site where they can be hosted? I'm assuming the Mods are fine with me sharing the files. If not, let me know.wiki?

That's a great idea! And maybe different people could contribute squares for it?

Keyboards for the cure?
Can we host vectorized images?
I really like the top row one with the keycaps backgroud. Could you make the background white, with "keyboard enthusiasts" in black?
All of those are really great, btw. Even the bottom one-liner would be epic in black on white background.
My first attempts at some dyesub mousepads:

You've got an email! I'm hoping the art is vectorized, so that we could use it in other ways. Would you be interested in doing some design work for the community? I'm thinking about doing GB-themed mousepads. Each GB would have it's own mousepad, with corresponding colors. Would you be interested in helping me put together the artwork?

My primetime of contributing to this community came and went. What iMav has done here is great, but I'm only here to post photos and contribute to keyboard mods nowadays. I sent you the PSD, and converted the fonts to shapes, so that you can scale it for whatever printing needs you need. Good luck!
the keycaps are raster graphics, though it's a fairly simplistic shape, I'm sure someone can just hand draw it out in shapes in AI or PS.
Here are some images that I've been developing for this travel coffee mug, for a GH member:

Nice! Thanks for posting that! Can you give me a photo of more of the detail of the logo, I want to see how much was picked up by the printing.
EDIT: Nevermind, zoomed in and it's there. Were you happy with the way it came out?

Yes, I am very happy with it. :D
It probably won't be the last GH logo coffee mug I have made for me.
Can I use the logo on a custom accessory?
This is going to be useful to people who want to make new kinds of GH-themed stuff: shirts, mugs, mousepads, whatever. Even if the artwork is not in the proper layout, just being able to supply a manufacturer with vectorized artwork allows the manufacturer to make modifications. Supplying them with a low-res (or even a high-res) image that they cannot manipulate is a waste of time.
Hopefully, this thread will be a place for people to post new designs, or find new designs.
What did you plan on making with the logo? :)
Hey Krogenar, now you know. :)

Do you have the current banner in a better resolution?bro caps made this. if he could chime in with a high res version i could add it to the dropbox library (yes, there is one, access is not limited on purpose but because dropbox makes it difficult to share with large groups..)Show Image(http://geekhack.org/Themes/Thoriated/images/banner.png)

That looks great! What is it exactly? I'm glad you used the file, but keep in mind that I did not design the logo, I just helped get it into a vectorized art file. :thumb:
