Oh my god, I went with the mahjong green bottom white top combo as a sort of meme but holy **** you nailed the colour. It's going to be rough finding feet that look ok and a keycap set to match but I'm excited to see it in person!

That looks so clean. I bet GMK camping would look pretty good on that.
just got the CNC parts in early, here's some quick pictures to tease y'all:Show Image Show ImageShow Image Show Image
Just ordered plate mount stabs for mine .It's PCB week (hopefully)!
Got the PCB's, and fully built the mine; everything works perfectly! Next up is prepping all the other boards for shipping!Show ImageShow ImageShow ImageShow ImageShow Image
can I ask what the name of keycaps set
July 27, 2020 - About 85% of the orders have shipped! A couple of the remaining orders have problems with addresses, and some others with quality issues which i will be talking to the supplier to fix!
Well, I fell for it. Somehow I missed that while this is a hotswap PCB, we have to solder those hotswap sockets in ourselves. It never even occurred to me that someone would run a GB like that.
Good news! All the parts I caught doing quality control are being remade and should ship out to me on August 5th.I'll try to ship them out as soon as I get them!

Did that affect ones that already have shipped?Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk
If you're shipping more of these, you might want to consider putting the sockets in something other than those plastic strips. About half of mine were loose in the box when it got here.
(Attachment Link) (Attachment Link) Got my Mahjong in today! Everything arrived in great shape, well packaged (Thanks Umio1!), & the build was a very easy one. The only thing I have yet to figure out is how to reprogram it. In the OP Umio1 said to use the https://kbfirmware.com/ site to do it, but there is no preset layout for the Mahjong yet. Umio1, can I just make a json with the same layout in KLE then import it to the site for reprogramming mine or will that not work?

Json file with the layout should be here for you to edit : https://github.com/Neil-de-grass-eating-Bisson/Canvas-Mahjong-Keyboards/tree/master/Mahjong%20Firmware
Soldering the hotswap sockets is very easy, i can post a tutorial video for people who are concerned or do not have previous solder experience. If you've had a non-hotswap PCB where you solder the switches in, it should be pretty trivial.

What is the best way to solder hotswaps? Tin the contacts on the PCB, seat a socket and then heat to reflow? Or seat the socket, then solder?
Just got mine today! Looks great. Only question I have is what method am I supposed to use to secure the emblem? It's just a loose piece. Am I supposed to glue it?Sent from my LG-H932 using Tapatalk
