Thank you as always for the update Yuktsi!

I think I'll stick with dark grey, as beautiful as that blue-grey is.  Can't wait for January!

I don't know. That grayish blue looks amazing in my book. But the dark gray will most likely play better w/ keycaps.

EDIT -- SORRY for the watermark. It's automatic w/ my Lightroom setup.

Appears to be the same gray as the most recent TX boards.  I like mine a lot, and I'm sticking with gray.  However, I will say that I was surprised at how difficult it was to use sets with gray in them.  I'm too nitpicky to have grays that don't match.  However, gray is a great backdrop for so many sets and has good resale value/potential.

TX and TGR have different anodizers but yeah they're close

I'm stuck on deciding between Gray and BlueGray as well, initially ordered Gray and 75% sure at this time that I'll stick to it.

To help with the decision, I made a render. Please keep in mind that THIS IS A ARTISTIC INTERPRETATION OF THE SAMPLE PHOTOS PROVIDED. Felt it was more helpful to see what the entire board in BlueGray MIGHT end up looking like.

I know it depends on the process/shop doing the anno, but on blue gray boards I've owned the blue only really shows in bright lights, like sunshine and somewhat with fluros. In normal lighting, it's a slightly cool gray with only a hint of blue.

edit: posted this before I realized they were comparing samples for different blue-greys

I would agree with this. A post I will make (with photos of a different hue of blue grey) in the forums tomorrow morning should demonstrate this to an extent.

So. Ready.

Now, to patiently wait for an Arrow.com MX Black sale once again. I procrastinated during the last one.

Did anyone else here start w/ a heavy switch like Cherry MX Clears and end up at 62g such as myself? I've tried 65g lubed Gat Blacks, 65g lubed Zealios, 65g/68g/78g ergoclears, etc. They all end up tiring me out quickly now.

I have gone steadily lighter with each build I do. Latest is 62g I think, which feels good. I'm using linears. I have 40g catweewee springs to try out as well but I think that's probably going too far.

I always do 60g for clears. For blacks I recently tried the 63,5g from SPRIT and I am very happy how they feel.

In normal lighting, it's a slightly cool gray with only a hint of blue.

i belive this is meant to match 356.2, so more blue with grey, rather than a tradtional bluegrey

I feel .2 is mostly Gray and only really blue in bright lights tbh. Just how it seems to me though, might he wrong though

I'm frankly not sure whom to agree with right now, so I'll post preliminarily some photos of 356.2 that I've found on the net. I can't tell whether there was an actual grey color in the buy other than blue-grey. You guys can decide...

As a Jane v1 owner, I'm pretty jealous of all you getting these boards. If it weren't for that ti gray color, I'd trade mine for a v2 in a single beat of the heart.

It's a fantastic color, but maybe difficult for me to pair with keysets. For blue I'd stick to more like a blue offered by kin.

As a Jane v1 owner, I'm pretty jealous of all you getting these boards. If it weren't for that ti gray color, I'd trade mine for a v2 in a single beat of the heart.

Would you choose the blue-grey color that yuktsi has sampled? If not, what color?

It's a fantastic color, but maybe difficult for me to pair with keysets. For blue I'd stick to more like a blue offered by kin.

BoW would look great, or Pristine.

..or actic.

I'm planning to try out GMK Modern Dolch on my blue-grey Jane V2, however if that doesn't stick then a tried and true 9009 set will look fine on it. One reason I prefer classic colorways is because they look good on pretty much any board. I am not crazy about my "flashy" GMK sets since they are harder to pair with colored boards.

That photo has had some serious color effects applied. The reds/yellows/etc. are completely zapped from it, and the blues look to be enhanced.

That is a very inaccurate example, especially of that particular model.

that's weird - it's pretty accurate color to me.  I have the qxp sitting right next to me today.  The blue is spot on.

Pic looks saturated to me as well - Mine was definitely not that blue.
