Looks like I'll be buying all of the plates for the Octagon v2, just to be sure, lol. I hear that the most flexible plates are best for tactiles, like ergo clears and zealios (which do feel great PCB mount). Definitely agree that something solid feels nice for linears, as I have SS on my Octagon w/ vintage Blacks, and they feel great, as do the SKCL Green Alps on a carbon fiber plate.
I plan on using vintage MX whites with translucent stems swapped into Zealio housings so the RGB will glow through the entire switch.
I might pick aluminum if it's the best in-between for sound and feel, as Steezus mentions.
