OG Spacekeys R2 is here. More colors, all convex caps, and some fresh new 3U molds.
These will be manufactured by GMK.
There is a PLETHORA of keysets that these will match - it's honestly a super long list, but any/most OG set will benefit from these if you need 'em.
Currently running or soon-to-run sets that will benefit from these are GMK Dolch R5 (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=107843.0) and GMK βeta (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=107593.0).
Kits
This time around we are doing three separate kits, each with a theme/color scheme in mind.
CC/N9
Designed to be used for any Dolch variant (which there are at least 10 around), these will bring a nice little OG kick to your Alice-layout-based board.

CP/CR
White and black. The classic colors used by a LOT of OG and re-run and new sets. The CR ones will go with literally any set with black mods/alphas.

L9 and U9 will complement any OG beige set, namely the 9009 runs, Classic Retro, even PBT based sets like OG dyesubs, CRP and the like.

If r3 ever happens, a 1.5u bar would be end game for me. I game a lot on my boards and like to hit LCtrl with my thumb to crouch. Having it feel like a miniature flipped space bar would be nice. I can still use the 1.25u one with a standard layout, but 7u bottom row is bae.

Sounds like according to the estimate they should be here this month or the next.

If these are in my hands before July I'll be pretty surprised. arriving to us end users by mid august would be the same time frame as GMK Classic Blue (another stock color set), 11.5 months from GB close to in hands. That's still faster than most sets these days. The 8600 base kits of modo 2 (last june) may well ship before this.

Per a message from Oblotsky that Hiney posted in Discord, it’s estimated that GMK will be shipping those to vendors this month. However, that estimate is several weeks old now.

There was an issue with the 3u Spacekeys, they came out 2mm too short and are being fixed now. Hiney has stopped shipping for now until he has received the fixed keys. We expect them to go out from GMK in January. For those that already received their kits, vendors will be sending out replacements once received from GMK.
