I will get replacements from round1 as round2 keycaps, though being so late. Guys, Melissa is really the nicest person alive. The whole SA company knows how to do business. I want to thank her here again and again for not letting me down. It will take until November she said, but what counts time in keycap business? Really curious to get them ;)

I don't think there's been any confirmation of an R3 yet but based on the success of R2 I would be somewhat surprised if they didn't want to do another round. Though it's all up to Matt3o since he owns the rights to the Granite design.

Hey guys,

I just put my ROUND 1 granite set (I was 6months abroad...) on my Vintage Peacock Board with MX Blues.

Can you please take a look if you can spot faulty caps?

In my opinion some legends are misaligned, but I might be seeing things, because I know there were production issues...

Suspecting the set has issues (visible around the S key), a pic from straight above would help assessment.

Yep, I would contact SP.  Explain how you were out of town when all of the misaligned R1 caps were sent out, and you just now found out when you installed them.

Slightly off-center legends are considered within acceptable margin of error. You should check if you have wrongly aligned caps.

To my eyes, the most obvious ones on the alpha keys are E, M, F and J. Number row 1, 4 and 5 are printed too high.

Those are all the really glaring ones that would really bother me, although I could forgive F and J since they're homing keys and have the deep dish, but the rest would bug me.
Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, Q, E, F, J, M all are pretty egregious.  There are a few more letters off, but they're not horribly off.  Some of the F row are off, but not horribly.  9 and 2 are a little off on the num pad, but not horribly so.  It looks like it's mainly homing keys and ones with special legends that are mucked up.  That's not just a little off, that's pretty well off of matched.  It looks nice, but that would get to me too.

Just received my package a moment ago. $71.94 in taxes.
Currently unboxing and doing webcam photos cause the good camera is in use.
Will report back in an hour or so when it's on board.

Why do you have to pay taxes if Canada is part of the NAFTA?

You need to register a certificate to declare something as NAFTA. (Quite a lot of pages to declare/sign/provide for every shipment)

100% of the materials would also have to be sourced within North America, including plastics, dye, box, etc.

Anything above $20 is subject to customs fees, but many items usually pass when they're declared under $200. Taylor had quite a large order, so the tax collectors decided to jump on his package.

I understand, it is a shame though. More than $70 on an order of $200 sounds excessive.

$520 order.  :p

Lol that is an insane order list.

I'm currently trying to complete a Granite set in Blank, but I seem to be a few 1x in the GKK (Light Grey) short.

I know this is a long shot, but does anybody here have any of the 1x in GKK Blanks they'd be willing to part with?

Did anyone else notice that the current banner picture MassDrop is using has different arrow keys? The arrow keys in their banner picture are "classic" arrow keys but the only arrow keys available for purchase are the one that are basically just greater than (>) symbols. None of the kits in the drop have those "classic" arrow keys for sale. I actually like the classic ones better and would love to buy a kit that included them.

A cross-posting from GON's keyboard. It is was due to the fact that we cannot give Matt's awesome design, all the credit it really deserves. Please excuse the poor quality of the picture, I am waiting for an actual dSLR camera to take over the job of the poor S4's. Try to find the happy face.

I have tried to go back to my old shiny ABS original Cherry sets, but I love the way this looks, and it is always nice to know that it will look as new for decades to come.

Thank you Matt.
