The PCB doesn't support split bars. For Verne, my request for Wilba was "remove as many things as possible, I don't want a cheese plate". I don't use split spacebars (Alice aside), and the keyboard kit won't come with one.

I mean I get it, having a fixed layout on a board makes for a much better building experience & tighter end product, but having just one fixed layout really kills it for me & I'm sure some others. Honestly I do get it, I would go fixed plate over universal anyday if the fixed plate fit my layout preferences. I was just curious if there was any possibility of a fixed plate with a non standard layout or universal plate being offered as an add on, but you pretty much answered my question indirectly with your last line. Anyways the board is definitely beautifully designed (seriously I love the shape of this case!), but just not for me with the fixed layout. GL with the project moving forward man!

Cool - even just aluminum as another option would be great as it's a bit softer than brass. I like brass, but it is a bit too firm and loud for a board I'd use all day at work. POM is a great (and durable) option as well that has a great sound and soft bottom out.

This is great to hear, thanks for the heads up Wilba! I can live without a tsangan bottom row in all honesty, but split backspace is pretty much a necessity for me. It's so ingrained in my typing style at this point I have actually programed any board I got with a full backspace to use that as the pipe key & the pipe key as backspace LOL.

I like everything except for having no more rose colour, however Bronze might look interesting. Also I am not seeing a split BS support but considering M65-B is supporting somewhat of a full or split BS layout I am hoping this would be the case as well.

Wish you could've kept the more vibrant blue of Lake over Navy, but I guess this is fine too.

How different from rose gold will the bronze color be? I’m looking at joining the Olivia++ GB and getting the dark alpha version. I thought it would be cool to do on the rose gold Jules. Would the bronze be too far off for that? If so, I might go with a light alpha Olivia++ and do the Kuro Jules when the time comes.

Fixed layout plate is definitely happening. Offering a plate that supports split backspace and stepped caps lock is under consideration.

Not for the hotswap version.
+1 for solderable PCB and extra plate options that support split backspace. Would be a shame to see a nice case design like this go to waste without split backspace.

Agreed. I’m trying to decide what to do. I was assuming black would be all black. I’m not loving the light bottom, but buying a second board that comes with a black bottom to combine the two isn’t something I can justify.

With a seamless board like Jules, accentuating the side profile, for me, was extremely important and using different colors for the top and bottom of the enclosure makes a huge difference in that regard. I don't think offering these combos is strange at all.

Ouro is a new colorway for me, but Naut 2 will look dope on Navy ...but most of Zambu's sets would look dope on Ouro :-\
The only thing about the split colors that seems unusual to me is that RAMA is not offering an additional base purchase option.
