He's basically combining ideas from a Kinesis (http://www.kinesis-ergo.com/advantage.htm) and a Comfort Keyboard (http://www.comfortkeyboard.com/keyboards_comfort.html), with a very custom keymap. I've owned both by the way, and they're both great at what they do, but the Comfort has horrible rubber domes underneath (Kinesis Advantage has Cherry Browns).
