Bonjour,
Today I'd like to introduce you to GMK - Blanc Sur Noir !
To put it simply, this is GMK WoB but with the Azerty (french) compatibility, with Tulip novelties as the cherry on the croissant.
For years, it has been a struggle with very little to choose from when looking for quality French keysets. We feel like the market might be ready to hit the MOQ to make this a reality.

This keyset has been designed by the community, for the community. I'm just a spokeperson here. There's also no designer fee to keep the price reasonable despite the low-ish MOQ.

We're aiming for a 150 sets MOQ, at a retail price of 130€.

I'm interested. One thing I'd like to confirm -- will the icon modifiers (Shift, Caps Lock) have vertically-centered icons? (aka "Dixie mods" -- see Perestroika, Bingsu R1, 9009 R3, Dualshot, Botanical R1, etc). The renders seem to imply this, but there are some inconsistencies, thus making it unclear (e.g. see the 60% render -- left shift is centered; right shift is top-left aligned)

Still a niche but cool project; hope many people can join it to hit MOQ.

I have been waiting so long for a classic French AZERTY keyset made by GMK. I wish that there this keyset will pass the MOQ.
I will buy many sets so that I can also introduce the mechanical keyboard hobby to my French friends.

Is feedback taken for kitting at all for this interest-check?

I kind of wish there was a "Tulip/EU Parliament replenishing kit":
- a four-key kit to have as replacement for when your set wears off from typing (due to the nature of colored UV printing on the keys)

It is rather logical that this is not the case, i think.
If there was a Tulip kit, it would reach the MOQ without worrying.. whereas the azerty base kit (which is the cause of this initiative in the first place) would struggle to reach his MOQ (niche = tightly-knit but small community).
Putting the two together can help achieve the overall MOQ.

I'd buy a bunch of them too if they offered just the Tulip set as a small child kit. I feel like while small child kits are usually counter productive to meeting MOQ in this instance it might actually help given the limited appeal of the set.

I can understand what you both are thinking from an outsider of the French community point of view, but it's a community project by the French community and to my eye, it's still relevant for us. personally I'll commit for multiple sets and I'm sure i am not the only one 😁.

You heard the other guy : it's a community project, a community of AZERTY layout users that has been ignored, also for a technical reason for sure. But now everyone's ready and it's not limited to the community tho, so be welcome if you want some "+33" unique key or "WoB Tulip"  Multiple sets for me too !

layout? set covers both ansi and iso. language "issue" at best, but most people in the hobby touch type and are all about the funky legends (most CRP sets aren't even EN and they sell a ****ton each round). I see no problems with this set hitting MOQ, especially given the tulip alphas. for people outside francophone countries it's a whole novelty WoB basekit lol

With NovelKeys on board, any chance of a MOQ increase/price decrease? I know some people have reservations about it being a niche language layout but plenty of those have been successful and this is a fun take on WoB. Wouldn't be surprised if it easily breezes past 150 with such a big vendor on board.

Do you even know what is like to have a keyboard that doesn't type what it's written on the freaking keycaps?!?! French users(and probably others) have adapted to use the generic english layouts because that is 99.9% of what GMK groupbuys are and you are saying that this groupbuy also needs to be like that?!?!
