Before I pull the trigger on the group buy, I'd love to know if the PBT white caps are snow white or more like milky white? I'm thinking about going with dark grey/white combo.
I found some pictures here https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicalKeyboards/comments/3giv6l/gateron_pbt_blanks_milk_dark_grey/ stating that these are gateron dark grey/milk. According to the color combo on the picture, one can only assume what "milk" stand for? Beige or white?

It's comparable to Cherry doubleshots. Not white, not totally beige either.

Does light gray on the blanks (mods) matches the grey on the printed sets?

I'm planning to do a blank mods with printed alphas

If you are gonna replace all the mods with blanks anyway......

Of course. If we are unable to hit the MOQ, we will revert back to the original USD$75 for pure ANSI sets, and then I can cancel orders for people who just want the ISO.

Only the full sets. The RGBCMY kits would be unaffected. The keys will not change as well.

Mold cost is at $5000, and per ISO set after purchasing the mold at $8 for 500 sets, higher for less.

If I release the ISO kits separately the ISO guys would need to fork around 25-35 bucks for a set of ISO kit...

So I'm trying to gauge the interest for combined sets

Where is your loyalty? The rabbit is loyal to his AZERTY ways, you should be behind the ISO.

I personally am just going to use Electric Bluegaloo bods in an ISO layout with my blue Cyrillic.

I would love them too, but I'm not sure they're worth it for this group buy. enjoyPBT offers these in various sizes, as well as other single caps, on TaoBao, but not sure how likely they'll want to ship a batch with no MOQ to us. Still, curious...

Eh. I don't care. If it helps our fellow ISO hobbyists, then why not? So long as it doesn't add much to the base set.

But I still don't get why ISO users get ANSI boards and modify the bottom row. Will make it so much easier for them and open the door to more key sets.

Also, does anyone know how closely the alpha colors match a beige HHKB case?  Can anyone take a picture of them next to a HHKB?

Thank you - really - for making this iso poll, but there's no way that we can get 500 people to agree on this.       Gateron should be willing to invest in this In a little they will recoup the costs. This is becoming a religion war all again, bars versus scoops. We are talking about a set that people buy only because getting a gmk set is nearly impossible, with moq problems.

And this set at 75usd is already more expensive than the 99 usd gmk adler, when you consider the number of keys.
