[IC] Internet Explorer Mousepads
« on: Fri, 18 October 2013, 10:43:08 »
I was thinking of getting some mousepads made with a picture if Internet Explorer 6 on them. Maybe something like this:

Would anybody on here be interested in getting some in bulk at a low price of $39.99 apiece?

39.99 is not a good price for an old school mouse mat!

But these are premium mousepads. $9.99 won't even buy you a piece of tarp to track your mouse on. These are genuine performance mouspads handcrafted with exquisite care in eastern Asia.

We just finally got rid of IE6 at work only half a year ago -- if I turn up with this pad at work I will most certainly be battered to death with disgusting Dell rubberdome keyboards.

So -- no thanks.

Please shrink the IE Logo down to a smaller size and place it to the bottom left of the mouse pad.  I'll buy at least 2 of them then.

I always hated having any logos on my pad due to it being unnecessary.  In fact I avoid Razer pads due to their foul looking graphics plastered all over their surface.

Also what type of pad are you organizing please see if you can get a flat, smooth,  polycarbonate surface (if that's possible)?

I can't shrink the Internet Explorer logo! That logo needs to be as big as can be so that everybody in the office will know that you take pride in using the Internet.

I'd like to post in this thread.

To express a lack of interest.

IE6 installs about nine million registry entries upon initial install (counted by a relative who worked for a large (but still local) ISP's phone support dept). If you choose to uninstall, it removes six of them.

Not six million, 6. Six registry entries out of nine million.

Beaten with Dell rubberdomes, indeed Halvar.

What does that have to do with putting IE6 on a mousepad? Mousepads don't have registries.

You may have spent only $3 for a mousepad, but did that mousepad have the Internet Explorer logo on it?  I think not! You need to get ready for the future of multimedia integration and internet communication by buying one of these mousepads.

Any interest in them now?

If the material is similar in texture and finish to a Roccat Hiro 3D pad, then I'll buy at least 5 of them.  Of course having choice of either Firefox, Netscape and Google (forgot name of their browser) will guarantee more customers.

Because I get the feeling that IE is universally hated amongst MOST people here on this Forum.  I personally have never used IE in my browsing or purchasing needs on the internet, hence don't get too enthused on IE's ability to attract any further interest here.

That's not true. You would not attempt to break into a computer that you perceive to be old and therefore has no value. You would of course go for that brand new spanking new shiny computer first.

That's why nobody targets lenovos. They're too retro.
Jokes aside.
