I need to clarify if I can because they changed their laser cutting factory, there was problems with the MOQ last time but it should all work itself out. If I can do ANSI only plates, I'll have half plates as well.

Go for both.

But seriously, if you prefer light effects go for Duck Viper v2. But if you prefer flexibility(moddable plate, universal pcb support) go for x60.

My wallet is going to report a domestic dispute against me for all the abuse this month. The flexibility is a huge selling point for me.

I think I want the X60 way more; there's no guarantee I will be able to find one though

Hey xondat, fantastic pictures! Are the plates cut on a CNC bed or are they laser/waterjet cut? I'm thinking the edges look too clean to be laser, or are they deburred and cleaned up separately post-fab?

I'll take a picture of the bottom if this video doesn't cover it. Plates are laser cut, I'm not sure how/if they do any other additional finishing apart from sandblasting and anodizing. Screws used aren't going to be used in the production, its just what I have on hand.

Canon 6D!

New timeline is the following:
09/26 - sample shipped
09/29 - sample received, invoices out
10/01 - production approved
10/07 - invoices due
10/24 - production shipped
10/31 - production received, shipping invoices, packing
11/06 - all orders out

I will be sending out the remaining invoices tonight and tomorrow (if I don't finish up), I'll also contact people that paid in advance about their extra plate or discount.

Are you going to get the chance to inspect and approve the Carbon plates? IIRC you had mentioned that the plates were being made in a different factory.

Yes and no. I'll be using the same place as LeandreN, and I've previously had one of his carbon fiber plates and it was great. I won't have chance to inspect/approve my design, only when the 15 or so I'll order get to me. If they aren't to spec then (usually) the factory will correct it, if not, then I know of another place that can do it.
