Extras are things like extra plates and pcbs.

That's correct - we're actually not offering a teal badge. You'd have to use paint to infill or re-anodize the badge in order to achieve that color.

Same material that PCBs are made of, a type of fiberglass. Less flexy than polycarb or POM, but more flexy than aluminum, IIRC.

Not all the images are accurate - I got a lot of renders done throughout the process.

The part you quoted means:

The top and bottom of the case are the main color.
The back piece is the accent color.
The crest on the bottom of the board, in the middle of the brass weight is the accent color.
And the badge you can see through the cannon cutout is the accent color.

I’m in for one.  Got the standard edition in the first 20 seconds.  By the time I checked the page again the e-white was already sold out.  Can’t believe you can still snag a standard (as of this post), I could have slept in and that would have been nicer.

Hey upas, I saw on Taeha's YT video he used the FR4 plate. That doesn't come included with the standard kit, right? If I'm reading it correctly it ships with a brass plate?

Yes, the brass plate comes with the kit.  FR-4 plate is a separate add-on.

Yes - the standard plate is brass. I personally prefer FR4, but during the IC form, the majority of folks wanted a brass plate.

The thing about brass plates it they are less expensive in bulk, so by making it the default (which most people wanted), I could make the cost cheaper.

So that's why the standard is brass.

"2020-02-29: We are not sure we will be able to hit the May 2020 ship date due to the Coronavirus. We are hoping that our manufacturer can gain some time and we can ship as expected."

Is there any other place one can look to find what the current status is?

I am just curious because it's going on two months since the last update.
