Taiwanese Tv-Drama

At first, It seems trite, childish, made for crass-people.

40 minutes in, You begin to lose brain cells.

By the 3rd Episode, having Lost all brain cells along with any Self-Respect, it finally gets good.

// Currently On episode 18 of Love-Cuisine..

// Life is already hard, don't think so much, and everything begins to reveal their own unique charm

Love Cuisine is,  very different..

But even relative to -Neighbors- , it's Objectively worse..

Imagine someone tried to make an Anime and K-drama simultaneously, Token characters, story designed for low-income female audiences age 15 to 30.  Every episode littered with ad/brand placements.  All actors look waxy due to post-processing.

I started watching it because I was very curious as to WHY this show is well liked despite the fact that it doesn't have any time-travel/ spaceships/ or robots..

Thanks. I'm always on the lookout for ultra-niche interests that I can share with one guy on a niche forum dedicated to something completely unrelated. It's getting harder and harder to be unique these days. I'm gonna watch this and try to get addicted.

Ok, I'm gonna watch it now. It's 2:15am and I just got back from work. I have some hummus and pitta bread, and a protein shake.

Ok, so it's cheap, but it's quite inventive. Reminds me a bit of Hollyoaks. Then there's all this cooking **** going on. The sound effects are amazing, there's twinkles when people have a thought. It's a bit slapstick, a bit Benny Hill. There were some women in bikinis at one point so I see why you kept watching.

Bloody hell its an hour long. I hope that's just cos it's the pilot. I'm halfway through. I'm going to bed. I'll finish it tomorrow though, it's pretty funny.
