dorkvader will be re-joining the moderation team, as a global moderator.  dorkvader was formerly on the team and took a hiatus, but he's back!  Congrats, dork!

Actually I've noticed mods seem a bit thin on the ground lately.  Looking at the list of active users at the bottom of the main page often shows no mods or admins online

Not a criticism!  Only an observation.

A few times I've pointed new members to the online list on the front page if they have a query that would best be addressed by a mod, only to see that there are none online!

Happy to be here!

I was a mod back in the "old days" before the rootworm debacle. I stayed around after that for some time after that and am happy to serve once again.

I'll be like the grover cleveland of mods :p

Oh, absolutely. I just don't think there was any need to post that, specifically. Surely the mod staff is aware, hell we have all been made aware. It's not like they made DV a mod today, and someone is calling attention to a problem that went unnoticed. To dig up an old post to basically just stir the pot does no one any good.

I am in 100% agreement with you though, that people, regardless of their position, should be held accountable for their actions. Good, bad or otherwise.

Like inanis said, we really don't need this conversation here.
We already have one thread about this crap so keep the conversation there. No need for perpetuating the drama beyond that thread.
