So, I've been trying my hands at sculpting cap designs as this is my first one, Spidey. It's still in the works so please don't bash too hard lol.

This happened to me just yesterday. With lots more people creating caps we are going to see a lot more over lap of ideas. It will be unavoidable. Hopefully this will push artists to further refine our craft and design awesome new things.  As long as we are respectful and don't completely rip someone else off.
Even though they are sooooooo overplayed I was thinking about sculpting a skull keycap just to see if I could come up with something different. Lots of other ideas to do first so i'll probs keep it for a rainy day challenge if to get my creativity flowing.

Looks intriguing, definitely post more angles once you get time!

Also I agree with pinkizhip, similar ideas are going to be unavoidable. But if you bring your own style to the table, an idea becomes your own.

Nice start, I'm liking it.

Lots of new artisan makers lately. It's cool to see everyone making new designs. I had "spider" on my list of design ideas too, but it was like 5-6 down the list lol.

Not yet. I'm trying to do as much as possible before I make a first mold and cast.

I'd have to say #2 with the head of #1. Progress looks good though!
