full-size ortholinear

Hi, I'd love to get my hands on a full-size ortholinear keyboard, preferably with mechanical keys.  Function keys, ins/del group, and arrows are definitely required but numpad is a "meh" since I never use it.  Basically 87 keys, minus those newfangled Windows keys.  Is there one like this anywhere?

On here, I found a 3.5 yo post about a poll, and one about this guy going to have one custom-made, but my web searches come up empty.

You can rearrange the keycaps and use loadkeys / xmodmap from Linux, yes?  I don't have access to Windows.  Can you get 2x1 (or wider) keycaps for it?  Different color keycaps?

BTW they still sell it for the same price, which is in "it'll probably work" territory.  I lean toward thinking that, for that price, it's a rubber-dome keyboard.

Anyone know how I can implement a mode-switch key on Linux, so I can cram alphanumerics, symbols, function keys, and digits into 75 keys?

You can do that with QMK and layers. And the keyboard will work on Linux, Windows, and Mac.

I see that, thanks.  Is there a file I can download and try to extract things from to read?  docx and exe don't do much on Linux.  Maybe I could get Libreoffice to open the docx, but clicking on it does nothing.

That's sweet.  I looked at the BFO-9000 kit and it did pique my interest, but I was hesitant because I've never done anything with keyboards except as a unit (plus it's not currently offered).  What all do you need to buy that's not included in the kit?  Obviously keyswitches.  I assume keycaps?  Case?  Cable?  Do you get all the extras from the same vendor, or do you have to shop around?  Does the PCB come as one board which you break apart, or is it always two parts?
