Is there a reason why the "~" key is blank? Looks kind of inconsistent in my opinion.

I am also a little sad that the ISO R4 alpha key is blank now. I prefer any legend over a blank key (like you did it in your Dolch Set).


One more question:

Will the numpad Enter key look exactly like this? Are there any real life pics of a similar key? Judging by the mockup I strongly prefer the numpad Enter key from the Mod Pack.

It's a bit frustrating to finally see a GMK set with HHKB support only to see that we've lost *normal-layout* support.  I will think long and hard about this and if I decide not to get the base set I will probably still get the mod pack and/or the color pack.

This needed to be done, and is a good idea imo. This will cut down on people receiving sets with missing/scratched keys. It will also save Ivan a good chunk of time I would imagine.

Base set is based on the FIRST MX model, the G80-0312 and therefore has the original bitshift international layout. There is a '@ or |\ key to use in place of ~` depending if you are using ANSI or ISO configuration... or in case of HHKB style some may use both.

Is L9 the same color as classic beige alpha base color? And for spacebar, what are the random colors?

The main reason I'm getting this set is to mix with classic beige to get complete BoW set for all possible layout so that's why I'm asking.

Honestly, there is no reason why you should have to sort all that stuff yourself.  I'm definitely okay with paying a little extra for pre-sort and getting boxes seems like a great idea too.

I put in my order.  Has anyone at GH ever done a reproduction of the reverse beige?  This will be a very unique set for sure.

Colors may match *SOME* vintage sets perfectly, or may be several shades different... it really just depends. Cherry used a lot of different tones of 'white' and 'beige' over the years. That is why there are numpad keys in the mods pack, to give some balance in case of tone difference.

I have ~` and |\ keys in the mods pack, as some people may wish those to match their mods for a different aesthetic on existing white/beige sets, or to adapt non US sets to ANSI boards... etc.

Spacebars add on will be from the stock color selection

In which I asked for colors other than what we had last time, so perhaps some things like CP, U9, N7, UN5046, 3B, 3C, V1, V4. You would get one of each size in what ever colors we end up with.

While there used to be some other legends in F profile, they have been lost so all that is left now is Fnumbers and these circled numbers. We make due with what is available. I don't think it should be too bad on most boards since they are separated sections. If you like, there are some blank F profile you can use instead. Or, you could do something like F profile 1-4 and E profile blanks for the rest or...

Some colors we had many of, some not very many of so some orders were not as diverse as others.

Great stuff! "Standard" mods for me as I'm not a fan of the reverse look, but it'll be really good to have a full set of various mods to fit different boards, something I've wanted for ages. Also, SPACEBARS

Does this mean that if you order the base set you get the standard spacebar and if you order the additional spacebars you will get the other colors?

What if we would also like a spare of the standard spacebar color?  I may already have to edit my order to add more spacebars.
