Hi all

Hi all new to this obsession. Recently got a MX Clears on Pok3r 3. I love heavier switches. Getting some light tactile grays in soon. Good to be a part of the community.

Hi hi, you got some good switches to start out on a really nice board. Bet you are enjoying that Pok3r. If you like clears than you might also like white or green switches, they are pretty nice clicky switches.

Are you building a board or swapping out the switches? Also keep an eye out for some good caps to go with it all, and welcome to geekhack!

Welcome to Geekhack!

Heavy switches rulez! :D

I still bottom out on most switches, including greens and blacks.  Clears are the first switch I've found that I don't bottom out all the time.  Most of the time, but not quite.

This mech stuff is a deep rabbits' hole... i am getting sucked into. I'm looking at the GON's parts for a possible diy.  I can't get enough...

It is a nice healthy obsession.

Not sure about the clicky, I am trying to find a good sound test for greens.

Anything harder than Greens or Grays?

Your finger strength must be insane. I think grey, white, and green all have the same weighting - just different tactility.

Oh, and welcome to GH. I love typing on clears :)

:)) No insane finger strength here. My fingers get tired but I love that feeling. I like grays better then clears. :thumb:  I wonder if there are stronger springs greater than 80cN.

You have no idea how deep the rabbit hole goes ;)

There are super blacks: http://deskthority.net/wiki/Cherry_MX_Super_Black

You could put a super black spring into a green switch to get the same effect.

If you really wanted to.
