After the success of Palmetto 60, our next project is a custom full sized keyboard. Designed and manufactured by Van Dusen.

We're producing as much as possible in USA. We probably will outsource plates for this board because it was not cost effective on Palmetto to CNC them ourselves.

would be a whole different board and PCB design so i think it's unlikely, but i would consider shelling out for a southpaw version

IC form filled, really digging this board design! A true alum full sized custom is something that I have yet to get in my collection & this one is looking pretty fire. The only thing that could make this better IMO would be a southpaw variant. Although I get not wanting to do that as that would basically require running two seperate designs at once. Anyways awesome work guys & GL moving forward with this!

I think you should pick 1 layout and then make the 2nd version a southpaw version of the 1st layout. I'm not a southpaw user but there are so few options out there for southpaws and full size boards that I'm sure it will be appreciated.

We'll add ISO, that was an oversight. The plate already has it but the PCB doesn't yet.

We won't be making cases in China. The whole point of my company is to produce boards in the USA.

Quick update:

I have received FR4, Polycarb, ABS, and POM plates for testing.

I have a revised proto pcb from hiney that supports F12/F13.

We have some units in ano that we are hoping to get back in the next week or so and then we can get some streams lined up and get the GB going.

Also I have a sample carrying case/bag ordered to review, waiting on shipping now.

We need more full sized boards in this hobby. I love the weight. Those layout possibilities are bussin, but I do think southpaw version of the #1 layout as second design would be inclusive in a good direction for this board.

I got the carrying case in, it's literally a large TX bag/case

I'm hoping to include it with the board. Since we are made in USA, we have make our own packing foam, and that ended up being fairly expensive on the Palmetto. So shipping in a case will hopefully work well.

Anodizing samples got pushed back a week, I guess because of the July 4 holiday. Should be here in the next few weeks.

We also had another cerakote sample come in, this one was done by our certified cerakote vendor. The color is called black cherry.

After playing around with the stock bag configuration, not 100% happy with the fit. We're going to get a custom foam cutout made/custom zipper, so just ordered the sample for that and will hopefully have it in a few weeks.

We got anodizing back but am not entirely happy with it. We're going to go with cerakote for the initial boards.

Also, the second bag prototype came back, and we're happy with it and hope to offer it with the GB in the future due to the high moq and storage required, we won't be able to have the case for the initial units.
