Hello all,

Welcome to the new IC for Milkyway Half Blade. We went dark for a few months to go back and revise many aspects of the design. Based on the community feedback, we have the following updates:

- Revised colors (higher contrast) with samples being produced now
- Revised existing kits (Novelties, Space bar, Norde)
- Revised Deskmat 01 (Don’t Lose Your Way)
- All new kits (40’s, US/UK Alt Alphas)
- All new Deskmat 02 (Iconic)

That’s not all, we can also confirm the following collaborations for this set:

Since our initial IC post, we received comments about the suggestive artwork included in the original novelties kit. My intention was to have this kit be a natural extension from the show that inspired it. In retrospect, those elements didn’t translate well into a product. Therefore, we made sure to move forward without it. I never intended to offend anyone with this keyset. I’m always here to listen to the community, and we couldn’t have done this without your continued support. I hope this update provides continued excitement for the set. There are more updates to come leading up to Group Buy, and I look forward to sharing more.

Hey I am missing some keys in the norde kit would like it if you could implement it.
first is the Z key in R2. There are 2 Y keys for R2 in the nordekit instead of one Z and one Y key
second I am missing some sublegends.
In particular the € on the E, µ on M and the @ on Q
hope to see those changes beeing implemented, without those I wont have any use for the kit and would just stick to ANSI. Either way I am getting this set

Seeing as to how you're adding Modern Icons in the 40s kitting, could you consider adding in 2 1.5U Keys into the kit? Weird to see 4 1.25Us and only 2 1.5Us. I think it'll appeal to users who use modern icons on non-40s boards as well.

Edit: Alternatively, maybe a Modern Kit? For users who prefer them separate.

Other than that, this is a awesome set with great collabs. Will definitely be purchasing a few. GLWIC!

Hi, pls consider adding a 1u R3 alpha "|/" to US/UK alt alpha kit, since this key has sub legend in the base kit, so a non sub key is needed.

Thank you for all the support and feedback! Currently working on revising a few kits to reflect the recent comments.

For today's IC update, we just revealed our collaboration Guts artisan with l e e n a ! Guts will be raffled later this year, with exact timing to come. This is a proto sculpt, and we plan on adding in his tongue to complete his signature look.

Hello everyone,

I’m writing to let you all know that our GB date for MW Half Blade is being pushed back. Our original plan was to have the GB start on April 28th, but there were some things that came up in my personal life that require my attention right now. Unfortunately, my puppy suffered from an accident and I need to help him through his recovery for the next several weeks.

That being said, we need to wrap up the revised deskmat and some remaining collaboration items. Also, MW is sending over R2 color samples for my review.

Right now, we don’t have a new date for the GB. But I’m working closely with John to make sure we provide this to you all ASAP. We want to make sure the new date works for MW, and that we don’t overlap with any other sets that will be going into GB.

We appreciate your patience, enthusiasm and support for this set.

I'm happy to report that we have new GB dates for this set, which will be June 24th - July 29th!

There are a few pieces to wrap up, and I'll have more updates on the revised deskmat and remaining collaboration items.

Hello everyone,

After some consideration with my partners, we have decided to delay the GB for Half Blade. The goal is to have the new GB start on July 8th and end on August 12th. I know this delay may come as a disappointment, but there are a few items that still need to be wrapped up.

On the creative front, we are super close to finishing the second deskmat design. Similar to the recently revealed Mystery Croquettes Deskmat, I want to make sure this second deskmat pays the proper homage to the beloved source material. The artwork is being produced in collaboration with an artist that I have a deep appreciation for. You can expect to see a certain heroine featured on the deskmat, and I can’t wait to pull back the curtain once it’s ready.

On the logistics end, we are still finalizing the pricing and vendor selection for each region. Because of the color choices and wider kit options, the pricing will be slightly different than Demon Girl. I’m hoping that we will be able to share this info relatively soon.

All while this is happening, I’ve had a chance to review 2 rounds of color samples for the set. I’ve provided my feedback and MW is currently working on producing another round to send my way.

The new GB date isn’t too far away, and I believe the additional time to bake everything will be worth the wait! As always, I deeply appreciate everyone’s patience and support with this set.

yeah discord server was updated: "As mentioned earlier today in the Half Blade chat, we are unfortunately delaying the GB one more time (third time's the charm). Our new dates for the GB will be July 25th - September 5th..."

PLEASE bring back the Life Fiber deskmat. I love the artwork for the other two but we NEED a deskmat that matches the colors of the set. The light tone of those deskmats are good if you wanted to buy them separately but not if you wanted to match everything together. Make a poll, ask around, do what you have to do but please bring it back.
