this set have been submitted to GMK later about three months or more than miami night ,this set will be on sale late this month
but i think the miami night have been submitted already and paid for by ivan ,may be something unexpected happened ,what we need to do is waiting patiently and ivan will give us instant update if necessary

2,due to the  17%customs fees ,this set will be more expensive than ususl' GMK GB. and there is no mod to compatibale with WKL,1800 etc except for one stepped caps
3,the color is so similar to magenta ,but not the magenta. and this contains a cherry logo R1 and 2 love logo 1.25×.
4, i write this not to intent compare this set's time with miami night's , i just want to show my great respect to ivan. This GB is not his all life. he also has his own life and work and like everyone as us. Joining in GMK' GB means great patience exercise for everyone . 1，this set's color way is not magenta, although this color looks so similar to magenta. it's saint valentine's Day set by GMK and also double-shot ABS.
this set is a  custom-made color by cherry's proxy in China. yes, it' custom-made color, not pink ,not magenta, not 3C color in GMK's color card.
2,exactly,they need 500 set to reach the custom-made color MOQ,.However,the cherry's proxy in China have submitted 520 sets which means "i love you" in chinese.
3,Now ,these sets have been produced already and sent to China by air not by sea.
4,This set will be on sale in China. Taobao.in Jan 31,2016.
5,Unfortunately, due to 17% customs fees , this set will be more expensive than usual GMK. and this set just have a stepped caps without other mod.
6,some friends says this is 104, yes , this is not GB for the whole world , it is just for friends in China where the 104 is the predominant.

Good idea,but MD is not my first priority. since it need service fee for launching on it and accordingly increase the sets price but we just want to avoid the 17% customs fees in China without increasing other fees.

The custom-mold for 1.25× heart in Saint Valentine set havs been made already and it is also a big surprise to me.
 i don't know the specifics how proxy in China discussing with GMK?
From my point of view, profit is a  major but not only factor. The Cherry's Proxy in China(short as CPC below) have ordered 520 sets including custom-made keys and may promise to order more later. CPC could steadily order sets from GMK including custom-made keys and make profits, but we ,as enthusiasts in GH, could not do that easiy and just make one GB  even with just 250 sets and will not order the custom-made keys next GB.
and another important point is CPC earn great profits for Cherry Co. and CPC have got cherry's new series keyboards been made in China. CPC have more powerful voice in cherry. GMK have been affiliated to Cherry. IF CPC expressed intention to order custom-made legend and colors to GMK through Cherry. I think the voice is more powerful than enthusiasts in forums.

 the first one have been sent and the second one GB is monkey one which the address has been fixed already. and the third one ,in the near future, will be launch on GH and adopt most people's suggestion here and figure out to avoid customs fee.

There are the something to share with you by myself not my company.

The GMK Valentine's Day edition that we give it a new name "CHERRY KC 520" in China.
That's the custom made products of Cherry and made by GMK.

Just like the "ESC and W/A/S/D"keys with V1 and CP color set for Cherry G80-1863 in 2008 or 2009 in the market of China.
I am not sure but maybe it is the first time for the custom made colorful keys by GMK to Cherry.

And this one,Cherry KC 520, we have made the order directly to GMK via Cherry and not through the Group buy on the website.
I am so sorry for the 105 keys because we have sold so much G80-3000 and MX-BOARD 6.0 keyboards in China.
The custom made keys(heart shape and Cherry Logo) are higher than the others.
The keycaps have arrived in my company office Beijing at Friday.
We are all excited and look them up and down for long time haha.
If the keycaps be sold on Tmall and JD, they must need the EAN code and the official package in China.
So we build the Cherry KC 520's box.
The box have costed us nearly about 10 USD. Just the same box with G80-3000's in China.





We have a lot of work to do.Sorting the 520 set into the box in one day.Take the photos and send them to dealers.Express the Keycaps with box to the dealers.
If everything is ok, we will sell it on tuesday.
We can not wait cause the China long holiday is coming and the Express company also don't work on the holiday.

Regards the price of this set, I feel sorry to the friends on the GH.
The R.R.P is 999 CNY (About 150 USD) in China.
It's VAT including and free Express fees in China.

1.)We pay the tax about 17%.
2.)We choose the FedEx priority by airplane from Germany to China.
3.)My company's profit.
4.)My company's dealer's profit.
5.)The new keycaps package.

The price is higher than the others Group Buy set by individual.
And more higher price if shipping to other countries from China.
So I don't recommend you to buy it if you feel uncomfortable about the price.

YEAH,  you are right. Feng will collect monkey set orders on GH, i don't know the exact time, but soon. The exact time is depending on feng after he is well prepared for it.
I have mention that the Saint Valentine's set is for 104's  users in China， thus it will be expensive for friends abroad.
and when this set is on sale on TaoBao site in China on Jan 31,2016. I will post a link to it.

I am not sure but maybe it is the first time for the custom made colorful keys by GMK to Cherry.

And this one,Cherry KC 520, we have made the order directly to GMK via Cherry and not through the Group buy on the website.
I am so sorry for the 105 keys because we have sold so much G80-3000 and MX-BOARD 6.0 keyboards in China.

We are all excited and look them up and down for long time haha.
If the keycaps be sold on Tmall and JD, they must need the EAN code and the official package in China.

hi ,buddy. this is not a joke.
The 17% customs fee is the main factor.
The batch cyan sets of EC(enjoy click) , a keyboard enthusiast forum in China,  were sent to China late October 2016. we have paid 17%tax fees due to Customs Fee Regulation. How much? about 50 usd per one set. I think you guys on GH who are located in US or AU need pay no more tax fees for your cyan sets. The Saint Valentine's Day set is under the same situation with ours cyan sets.
however, we have plan for a long time to launch a third custom-made color and custom-made legend Group-Buy from GMK . I will figure out how to avoid the 17% tax fees。
Saint Valenting is already first. Monkey set is current second. and please wait our third one. which custom-made color and legend and what MOD added into will be checked the interest ON GH here.

I suggest you to check previously successful GB characteristics to find the features that makes great group buys, HF and Skidata, for example, or the modifiers sets by Ivan and billnye just to mention a few. The full sets are always all inclusive and HF was even very good priced, Skidata claimed a special position and was a bit more expensive but again it was all inclusive.

I'm not really well-versed in how the custom color process works, would the fact that this custom color has been run make another set with the same color any cheaper? There's always a possibility that just re-running the set with a full set of mods could be cheaper because this one has paved the way.

Ultimately it depends on how they are set up logistically, but my assumption is that we will see higher costs for custom colors until said color is officially added to the color wheel (and therefore no longer custom).

They are either purchasing these resins in smaller quantities (high cost) or at the very least purchasing a colorant that they otherwise wouldn't have to (increased logistics costs, warehousing, etc) - or some combination of both.

And then there's the processing factor - I'd bet that if they are blending these colors in-line vs pulling from a bulk silo/box, they have increased changeover costs and waste due to color matching a custom color.

And there are probably other costs that I'm missing due to not being terribly familiar with their logistics and processing nuances.

5,Unfortunately, due to 17% customs fees , this set will be more expensive than usual GMK. and this set just have a stepped caps without other mod.

It's funny because I actually was *not* interested in the set due to it being a custom color.  It would be harder to mix and match with my existing Magenta sets, and I didn't really want to have to deal with that.

But knowing that it's not custom, I'm more interested.  )

The guy literally said that it was a custom color twice. He straight up lied.

Haha I'd have the same issue.    I'm not aware of a source unfortunately.    You'd almost have to use some of the other kits out there and mix-n-match to get something nice.  Cyan Alt, Purple Enter/Esc, etc.  Could look great, but might not be what you're after.  :-/

Haha I'd have the same issue.    I'm not aware of a source unfortunately.    You'd almost have to use some of the other kits out there and mix-n-match to get something nice.  Cyan Alt, Purple Enter/Esc, etc.  Could look great, but might not be what you're after.  :-/

Yeah I will probably end up using a trio of colors to accent the set but it would have been nice to have a "complete" TKL layout with the set.

Wow! It's like night and day. The Valentine totally uses a different color; there's no Cyan in it at all!
