Hi, GH friends ,

VorTex Team make a new TKL Alu Case

for VorTex new 80% keyboard , and one more thing !!

It can fit Filco TenKeyLess Keyboard !!!

Probably same answer as all the other new Vortex products as well: Price is to be determined, and item will be available in a couple months.

It doesn't look cheap though. CNC something like this out of 2 blocks of solid aluminum... I'm guessing at least $150.

VorTex will release 3 Model keyboard ,

A: Alu case + PBT Keycap(with Sublimation) , Maybe 250 USD
B: Plastic Case + PBT Keycap(with Sublimation) , T.B.D , under 250 USD
C: Alu case + ABS Laser Keycap(With Laser Print) , T.B.D , under 250 USD

About When ??

VorTex Team will test the best quality , and go MassProduction ,

so I can't tell you when , But our target date will be 2012 Q2 (Apr ~ Jun)

Wait, are you saying we're forced to get this metal case with caps? Can we buy just the case for less?

April to June is soooooooooo far away! Need it quicker!

Ok last question, I promise lol. Will this be able to fit other TKL cases like leopold or CM, or is this exclusive for filco only? If it's for filco only, are you able to carve out the little area for the "filco" logo so we can transfer it from out old cases?

Well with Filco being pretty popular it would be cool if they laser engraved a logo into some. If it looked good I think I would rather have that than a blank one :-)
